NOTICE.
To Trespassers on the Dunedin and Port Chalmers Railway Line.
NOTICE is hereby given that persons found placing on, or carrying across the Port Chalmers Railway line, any wood, stone, or other material, without the consent of the General Manager of Railways, will be prosecuted according to law.
Dated at Dunedin, this eighth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

MUNICIPALITY OF CROMWELL.
NOTICE is hereby given that the assessment of the rateable property in the Town of Cromwell has been allowed on the 27th November 1874 and the same is deposited and may be daily inspected at my office by any person interested therein during the hours of from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
Any person may within 10 days after publication of above notice appeal against assessment, as per section LXXXV Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance 1865. Forms of appeal may be obtained at my office.

A mare and a colt will be sold at Shotover Pound.
A mare will be sold at Oamaru Pound.
A mare will be sold at West Taieri Pound.

1 white Horse branded JJ off neck,
1 brown Mare like M and a heart near shoulder, for trespassing on Goodwood, for which £2 each is claimed ;
Also on 2nd December by Mr. Fowler,
1 2-year-old black Colt branded like RM off shoulder, Waiwera—for which no damages is claimed, for trespassing on his grass paddock at Palmerston, both ears
Owners unknown ; and in default of being released, the above Horses will be sold at the Public Pound at Palmerston on Friday, the 18th day of December 1874, at twelve o’clock noon.

Owner unknown, for trespassing on the township of Arrowtown, for which ten shillings per head driving expenses is claimed ; and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the public Pound, at Hayes Lake, on Friday, the 25th day of December, 1874, at 12 o’clock noon.

Owners unknown ; for trespassing on paddock in crop for which 2s. damage and 1s. 6d. per head driving charges is claimed, and in default of being released the above cattle will be sold at the public Pound, at Popotunoa on Friday the 18th day of December 1874, at 12 o’clock noon.
