Boundary Description
Boundary of the said Block X, twenty thousand six hundred and twelve (20,612) links, to the boundary of the Run; thence in a north-easterly direction along the boundary of the said Run, forming the north-western boundary of the said Block X, fourteen thousand five hundred and seventy-seven (14,577) links, to the north-eastern boundary of the said Block X; thence along the said north-eastern boundary across sub-trigonometrical station A, fourteen thousand nine hundred and eighty-seven (14,987) links, to the north-western boundary of Section 10; thence along the north-western boundary of the said Section 10, five thousand five hundred and eleven (5,511) links, to north-west corner of said section 10; thence along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 10 and 11, thirty-six hundred and twenty-nine (3,629) links; thence in a south-westerly direction along the north-eastern boundary of Section 19, seventeen hundred and seventy-six (1,776) links, to a road line; thence along the road line, fifteen hundred and fifty-nine (1,559) links, to intersection with the south-eastern boundary of said Block X; thence along the south-eastern boundary six thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight (6,928) links, to the starting point, excepting out of the above description pre-emptive right marked C.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, in presence of Donald Reid and George Turnbull, Esquires, Members of the Executive Council of the said Province, being also Members of the Provincial Council thereof, this thirteenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

LICENSE NOTICE
License to do under the hand of the Provincial Treasurer of the Province of Otago, and for every such license there shall be paid by the party applying for the same the sum of £1.
- No person shall be allowed to use any net for the purpose of fishing at or near the mouths of streams or rivers on the northern seaboard, from Otago Harbor to the Waitaki, during the months of November and December, 1874, and January, February, March, April, and May, 1875.

NOTICE
Of certain land at Macraes, in the Province of Otago, having been reserved for a site for a Public School.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 160 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act 1872,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved for a site for a public school; and it is expedient that the said land should be so reserved for that purpose:
Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described as a reserve for a site for a public school: (that is to say)—
Sections 23, 24, 25, and 26, Block I, Macraes.
Dated at Dunedin, this 10th day of November, 1874.

Of certain land in the Township of Molyneux, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart for Educational Purposes.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 160 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act 1872,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a reserve for Educational purposes; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose:
Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described as a reserve for Educational purposes (that is to say):
Sections 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, Block XXVI., Township of Molyneux.
Dated at Dunedin this 10th day of November, 1874.

Now therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described as a reserve for Educational purposes: (that is to say)—

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Provincial Government Buildings, Dunedin, the sixteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four. Present—His Honor James Macandrew, the Superintendent, Donald Reid and Robert Stout, Esquires, Members of the Executive Council of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS by the second Section of the “Salmon and Trout Act 1867,” the Governor of New Zealand is authorized to make Regulations for preserving and propagating salmon and trout, and regulating fishing for salmon and trout, and for other purposes in the said section particularly mentioned: And whereas by the twelfth section of the said Act the Governor is empowered by Order in Council, under his hand and the public seal of the Colony, from time to time to delegate to the Superintendent, or the Provincial Executive of any Province, all or any of the powers vested in the Governor or the Governor in Council by the said Act, subject or not to any limitations or restrictions as he might think fit: And whereas the Governor hath, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand, and in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities for that purpose vested in him by the said Act, delegated to the Executive Government of the Province of Otago all the powers vested in the Governor or the Governor in Council by the said Act exercisable within the Province of Otago: And whereas it is deemed expedient by the Executive Government of the Province of Otago to make regulations under the said Act for the purposes hereinafter particularly specified:
Now, therefore, His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Province of Otago, doth by virtue and in exercise of the powers delegated to the Executive Council of the Province of Otago, and of every and any other power enabling the Provincial Executive in this behalf, hereby make the Regulations following: (that is to say)—
- The ensuing months of December, 1874, January and February, 1875, shall be an open season for brown trout fishing by rod in the following streams, namely:—Waitati river, Shag river, Kakanui river, Island stream, Waikouaiti river, Water of Leith, and Fulton’s creek, West Taieri; but no person shall be allowed to fish for brown trout by rod as aforesaid without first obtaining a...
