Applications must be made by the applicant in person, at any Land Office in the Province, and a deposit of 1s 6d per acre paid at the time of making application, being the first half-year’s occupation fee. The purchase money is payable at the rate of 2s 6d per acre per annum for 10 years.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that the Lease for ten years of the undermentioned runs will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Survey Office, Queenstown, on Tuesday, the 10th day of November next, at noon, in terms of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872,” at the upset price of halfpenny per acre, rental to be an assessment of 3s. 6d. for every head of great cattle, or 7d. for every head of small cattle to be depastured on the runs; but the minimum stock on which assessment shall be charged shall not be less than the number set opposite each. Lease to commence on the first day of October, 1874. The annual rent and a deposit of one-tenth of the purchase money shall be payable at the fall of the hammer, the balance of purchase money within a month.
