APPLICATIONS FOR CROWN LANDS.

DEFERRED PAYMENTS.

It is notified for public information that applications may now be made at any Land Office, for Land situated in any Land District, under the deferred payment clauses of the Act.

The Land now remaining open for Sale on deferred payments is situated as follows:—

At Hyde, 1,137 acres
At Ida Valley, 1,232 acres
At Waipahi, 1,612 acres
At Teviot, 1,526 acres
At Macraes, 2,400 acres
At Toitoes, 751 acres
At Lake Wakatip, 663 acres
At Glenkenich, 44 acres
At Lake Hawea, 1,500 acres
At M’Nab’s, 276 acres
At Tuapeka, 4,493 acres; but of this last area 2,400 acres are withheld from application, pending the definition of the Railway.

Copies of the pamphlet giving the substance of the conditions may be obtained at any Land Office.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that section 14, Block I, Waikaka District, containing 200 acres, will be re-opened for application at the Land Offices of Dunedin or Invercargill, on and after Saturday the 28th November next, under the deferred payment system.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that section 34, Block II, Table Hill District, containing 52a. 3r. 4p., will be offered for sale by public auction at the Survey Office, Lawrence, after the Town sale there, on Monday, the 22nd day of December next, at noon, at the upset price of £1 5s. per acre. Immediately after, section 1, Block III, Tuapeka West, and section 64, Block III, Tuapeka West, containing respectively 50a. 1r. 25p. and 1a. 0r. 35p., will be offered at the upset price of £1 per acre, the former subject to repayment of valuation for improvements to the extent of £1500; the latter subject to valuation of £2500.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that section 43, Block II, Moeraki District, containing 11a. 2r. 21p., and section 72, Block VI, Moeraki District, containing 2a. 3r. 8p., will be offered for sale by public auction at Mr. Marrott’s Hotel, Hampden, on Tuesday, the 22nd day December next, after the Town Land sale at 2 p.m.; the former at the upset price of £2 per acre, the latter at £2 2s. per acre.

NOTICE is Hereby Given that Sections 48, 49, and 1 to 56, Block III, Glenkenich District, containing respectively 79a or 5p, 79a or 5p, and 39a 2r 3p, will be re-opened for application at the Land Offices of Dunedin or Lawrence, on and after Saturday, the 28th November next, under the deferred payment system.

LEE STREAM HUNDRED.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sections 3 and 4, Block I, 18 to 21, Block II, 25 to 28, Block III, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18 and 21, Block V, Section 3 & 8 to 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 21A, Block VI, Lee Stream District, will be offered for sale as land of special value, under the 85th clause of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872,” at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Monday, the 4th day of January next at the upset price of £1 per acre, subject to repayment of valuations for fencing erected thereon.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS FOR UNSURVEYED LAND, under “Otago Waste Land Act 1872.”

It is hereby notified to the Applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that they have been declared to be the purchasers of the Sections set opposite their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase money of these Sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue in Invercargill on or before Wednesday the 4th day of November, 1874, otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.
