Owner unknown; for trespassing on the Lower Ferry Reserve, for which four shillings and sixpence is claimed, and in default of being released, the above horse will be sold at the Public Pound at Balclutha, on Friday, the 30th day of October, 1874, at twelve o'clock noon.

One red and white bull, branded like J R or J—R off ribs, slit near ear, swallow off ear, slightly lame. Owner unknown; for trespassing on the Moa Flat Station, for which £2 driving expenses and £5 damages is claimed, and in default of being released, the above bull will be sold at the public pound at Glenkenich, on Friday the 30th day of October 1874, at twelve o'clock noon.

INCENDIARISM.
Maliciously setting fire to a Woolshed £50 Reward, and a Free Pardon to an Accomplice.
WHEREAS on the night of Sunday the 6th instant, a Woolshed situate on the Ototokarama Station, the property of Mr. M'Intyre, of Merino Downs Station, value £300; containing a chaff cutting machine and a quantity of hides and skins, was destroyed by fire: And whereas the said fire is believed to have been the act of an incendiary.
Notice is hereby given that a reward of £50 will be paid by the Provincial Government of Otago to any person who will first give such information as will lead to an arrest and conviction of the person or persons by whom the said fire was caused, and His Excellency the Governor will be advised to grant a Free Pardon to the accomplice, not being the person who actually caused the fire, who will give such information as will lead to a like result.
