Notice is hereby given, that sections 3, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 22, 29, and 31, Block I, and Sections 2, 4, 6, Block II, Beaumont District; Sections 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 14, Block II, and Sections 32, 35, 36, 39, and 40, Block III, Tuapeka West; and Sections 1 to 29, Block III, Beaumont District, will be open for application on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 1874.

Applications may be lodged at the Land Office in the district, or at Dunedin. Plans to be seen, and lithographs obtained, at the Land Offices, Lawrence and Dunedin.

An application having been received to purchase section 5 Block I, Waikaka District, is hereby notified that objections to the issue of certificates for the occupation thereof on deferred payment, must be made at least twenty-four hours before the 21st day of October, 1874, and should no objections be made or sustained, the section will be granted to the applicant.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that the Lease for ten years of the undermentioned runs will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Survey Office, Queenstown, on Monday, the 9th day of November next, at noon, in terms of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872,” at the upset price of halfpenny per acre, rental to be an assessment of 3s. 6d. for every head of great cattle, or 7d. for every head of small cattle to be depastured on the runs; but the minimum stock on which assessment shall be charged shall not be less than the number set opposite each. Lease to commence on the first day of October, 1874. The annual rent and a deposit of one-tenth of the purchase money shall be payable at the fall of the hammer, the balance of purchase money within a month.

NOTICE to Applicants for Unsurveyed Land, under “Otago Waste Land Act, 1872.”—It is hereby notified to the Applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that they have been declared to be the purchasers of the Sections set opposite their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase money of those Sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue, in Dunedin and Invercargill on or before Wednesday, the 21st day of October, 1874, otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled and void, and the deposit forfeited.

TUESDAY, 1st DECEMBER, at Noon.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that sections 4 and 6, block IV 2, South Molyneux District, containing respectively 53a. and 52a. Or. 22p., will be offered for sale by public auction, as land of special value, at Barr’s Hall, Balclutha, on Tuesday, the 1st day of December next, at noon, at the upset price of £2 2s. per acre.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that sections 2 and 3, block I, Cromwell District, containing respectively 3a. 2r. 24p. and 4a. 1r. 4p., will be offered for sale by public auction at the Court House, Cromwell, on Tuesday, the 1st day December next, at noon, at the upset price of 21s. per acre, subject to valuation for improvements, and survey fees, to be paid to the occupants.

NOTICE is hereby Given, that sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, block 3, Table Hill District, (temporarily reserved from sale) will be open for application on and after Friday, the 30th day of October next, at the upset price of £1 per acre.

It is Notified for public information that applications may now be made at any Land Office, for Land situated in any Land District, under the deferred payment clauses of the Act.

The Land now remaining open for Sale on deferred payments is situated as follows:

At Teviot, 1,526 acres
At Macraes, 2,400 acres
At Toetoes, 761 acres
At Lake Wakatipu, 663 acres
At Glenkenich, 44 acres
At Lake Hawea, 1,500 acres
At M’Nab’s, 276 acres
At Tuapeka, 4,493 acres; but of this last area 2400 acres are withheld from application, pending the definition of the Railway.

Copies of the pamphlet giving the substance of the conditions may be obtained at any Land Office.
