PROCLAMATION

Extending Time within which certain Lands in certain Hundreds in the Province of Otago shall be open for Sale.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue of the powers invested in me by "The Otago Waste Lands Administration Act, 1874," and of every other power and authority vested in me enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands comprised in the Hundreds hereinafter named shall be open for sale or lease on the dates hereinafter mentioned, that is to say: I proclaim and declare that all the lands comprised in the following Hundreds, namely, in the Lees Stream Hundred, in the Tuapeka Hundred, in the Dart Hundred, shall be open for sale or lease on the twentieth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four. And I also proclaim and declare that all the lands comprised in the Dunback Hundred and in the Waikoikoi Hundred shall be open for sale or lease on the twentieth day of December one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four. And I also proclaim and declare that all the lands comprised in the Kaiwera Hundred, in the Pukerau Hundred, and in the Otaira Hundred, shall be open for sale or lease on the fourth day of January one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five. And I also proclaim and declare that all the lands comprised in the Waikaka Hundred shall be open for sale on the fifteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five. And I also proclaim and declare that all the lands comprised in the Waipahi Hundred, in the Kuriwao Hundred, in the Herriott Hundred, in the Spottis Hundred, and in the Waikaia Hundred, shall be open for sale or lease on the first day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five. And I further proclaim and declare that the Hundreds hereinbefore named are described in the proclamations of His Excellency Sir James Fergusson, Baronet, Governor of New Zealand, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of date the third day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.


NOTICE

Whereas it is intended to stop up these Roads and portions of Roads which are severally delineated on the Schedules hereunder written, and are described on the maps or plans mentioned and referred to in the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1874," Session XXXIII., copies of which maps or plans, so far as they relate to the particular roads or portions of roads intended to be stopped up in each district: Now, therefore, I, JAMES MACANDREW, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in that behalf by the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1874," Session No. XXXIII., do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of such roads or portions of roads, or any of them, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well-grounded objections they may have to the stopping up of such roads, or portions of roads, and to leave such statement addressed to me at my office, in Dunedin, within sixty days from the first publication hereof, otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.

  • Plans to be seen at the School-house, Hillend.

Matau Road District

  • Plan to be seen at the School-house, Hillend.

V. Makarewa Road District

  • Plans to be seen at the School-house, Wallacetown.

VI. North-East Valley and Halfway Bush Road District

  • Plans to be seen at the School-house, N.E. Valley.

Halfway Bush Road District

  • Plan to be seen at the School-house, Waikarai.

VII. Otepopo Road District

  • Plans to be seen at the School-house, Otepopo.

VIII. Peninsula Road District

  • Plans to be seen at the School-house, Highcliff.

IX. Portobello Road District

  • Plan to be seen at the School-house, Portobello.

X. Strath Taieri Survey District
