under his hand, and under the public seal of the Colony, XXXIII., copies of which maps or plans, so far as they relate to the particular roads or portions of roads intended to be stopped up in the Road District specified in the Schedule, have been deposited at the public School mentioned immediately after the description of the respective roads, or portions of roads, intended to be stopped up in each district: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in this behalf by the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1874," Session No. XXXIII., do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of such roads or portions of roads, or any of them, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well-grounded objections they may have to the stopping up of such roads, or portions of roads, and to leave such statement addressed to me at my office, in Dunedin, within sixty days from the first publication hereof, otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.
SCHEDULE.
I. Balmoral Road District.
Plans to be seen at the School-house, Tuapeka mouth.
II. Blueskin Road District.
Plans to be seen at the School-house, Mount Cargill.
III. Clutha Road District.
Plans to be seen at the School-house, Balclutha.
IV. Crichton and Matau Road Districts.
Plans to be seen at the School-house, Hillend.
Matau Road District.
Plan to be seen at the School-house, Hillend.
V. Makarewa Road District.
Plans to be seen at the School-house, Wallacetown.
VI. North-East Valley and Halfway Bush Road District.
Plans to be seen at the School-house, N.E. Valley.
Halfway Bush Road District.
Plan to be seen at the School-house, Waikari.
VII. Otepopo Road District.
Plans to be seen at the School-house, Otepopo.
VIII. Peninsula Road District.
Plans to be seen at the School-house, Highcliffe.
IX. Portobello Road District.

X. Strath Taieri Survey District.

SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Province of Otago in the Colony of New Zealand containing by estimation four hundred and twenty (420) acres more or less situate in Benger District being section numbered forty-four (44) block one (1) on the map of the said district bounded by a line commencing on the western bank of the Clutha River and proceeding due west across Trigonometrical Station B six thousand (6000) links thence due north nine thousand seven hundred and forty-three (9743) links to the Clutha River thence in a south-easterly direction along that River twelve thousand (1200) links to the starting point be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
Given under my hand, and issued under Public Seal of the Province of Otago, in presence of Donald Reid and George Turnbull, Esquires, Members of the Executive Council of the said Province, being also Members of the Provincial Council thereof, this, twenty-second day of September one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.
