THURSDAY, 1st OCTOBER, 1874.
NOTICE is hereby Given, that the Lease for 10 years of Run No. 459, containing 6200 acres, will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Survey Office, Clyde, on the 1st day of October next, at noon, in terms of the Otago Waste Land Act, 1872, at the upset price of half-penny per acre. Rental to be an assessment of 3s. 6d. for every head of great cattle to be pastured on the run; but the minimum stock on which assessment will be charged shall not be less than 500 sheep. Lease to commence on the 1st of October, 1874. The annual rent and a deposit of one-tenth of the purchase money shall be payable at the fall of the hammer, the balance of purchase money within a month.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS FOR UNSURVEYED LAND.
Under “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866.”
THE Sections in the subjoined Schedule being now surveyed, the applicants are informed that the Waste Land Board will give its decision on their applications at this Office on Wednesday, the 9th day of September, 1874, at 11 o’clock noon, or before which day, objections to the survey, if any, must be made. In the event of the applications being granted, the purchase money may be paid forthwith.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS FOR UNSURVEYED LAND.
Under “Otago Waste Land Act, 1872.”
IT is hereby Notified to the Applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that they have been declared to be the purchasers of the Sections set opposite their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase money of those Sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue in Invercargill, on or before Wednesday, the 9th day of September, 1874, otherwise the application will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled, and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.

COMPETITIVE DESIGNS are invited for a Building to be used for the Otago Provincial Museum.
The conditions under which Designs will be received can be seen on application at the Office of the Secretary for Works.
Designs will be received at the Office of Lands and Works till noon of Tuesday, 8th September, 1874.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Tuesday, 1st September, 1874, for Contract No. 953 - Construction of Stone and Timber Bridge over the Oreti River, at Daniel’s Crossing, Southland.
Plans and Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at the District Engineer’s office, Invercargill.
Tenders to be indorsed “Tender for Contract No. 953.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
