SHAG RIVER BRIDGE.
FRESH Tenders will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday 11th August 1874 for Contract No. 946, erection of stone and timber Bridge on Shag River. Plans and Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Provincial Engineer Dunedin, and the Police Camp, Palmerston. Tenders to be indorsed “Tender for Contract No. 946.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any Tender.
PORTOBELLO.
TENDERS WANTED for Fencing and other work, adjoining the Schoolmaster’s Residence, Portobello. Specifications to be seen at School.
Tenders to be sent to the Schoolmaster not later than noon of the 14th August.

TEACHER Wanted for Mount Cargill School, eight miles from Dunedin, on Main North Road. Salary—Government Allowance and School Fees, with good residence and 10 acres of land, all fenced and laid down in grass. The land contains abundance of firewood.

NOTICE is hereby given to the ratepayers and others interested in the above District, that on and after Monday August 3rd, 1874, the annual accounts of the Board will be open for inspection at the Schoolhouse Waikari, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The statutory annual meeting of the Board will be held in the Schoolhouse Waikari, on Wednesday August 19th at noon, when the aforesaid accounts will be presented and dealt with.

HONORED SIR,
I HAVE the honor to draw your attention to order of the Lindhurst Road Board, published in the Gazette 20th May, 1874, directing the execution of certain works on new roads in the Waimumu Subdivision, and also to description of the said roads, as also road lines to be closed, forwarded by the Board engineer, and to request that your Honor will give effect to the same, and take the necessary steps to enable the Board to effect an exchange of part of the road lines to be closed in lieu of that to be opened through the New Zealand and Australian Land Company’s property; and also to enable the Board to dispose of the road lines so closed, or so much of them as may be left after such exchange has been effected.
