SOUTH MOLYNEUX DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the above Board intends to form a road line on part sections 11 and 12 Block II., South Molyneux District; said road to be 100 links wide; and under the authority and powers vested in the Board, as per "Highway Boards Empowering Act," together with the "Lands Consolidation Act." The plan of the above road can be seen by any person interested, for 40 days from this date, at the School-house, Port Molyneux, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.; and any persons affected by the above are required to state their objections in writing, and forward to the Board within 40 days from this date; and the Board will meet to hear and decide upon objections (if any) on Wednesday, 19th day of August, 1874, at noon.

For the period commencing August 1, 1874.
Notice is hereby given that the following Candidates have been this day Nominated for the offices of Councillors and Auditors:—

There being no opposition in South Ward, Henry Smith Fish, jun., and Henry John Walter were declared duly elected Councillors for that Ward.
There being more than two Candidates for High, Bell, and Leith Wards, and more than two Candidates for election to the offices of City Auditors, all further proceedings in the elections were adjourned until Saturday, August 1, 1874, when a Poll will be taken, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
There will also be polling in each of the Four Wards for the election of Auditors.
The Polling-places will be—
- South Ward—The old Immigration Buildings, Princes-street, South
- High Ward—The Fire Brigade Station, corner of High and Rattray-streets
- Bell Ward—The Oddfellows’ Hall, George-street
- Leith Ward—The Grand Stand of the Caledonian Society, St. David-street
Two Councillors are to be elected for each Ward—
- Two to do do High Ward
- Two to do do Bell Ward
- Two to do do Leith Ward
Two Auditors to be elected by the whole City.

CITY OF DUNEDIN. Election of a Councillor for High Ward in room of Councillor Ramsay, resigned (elected Mayor).
Public notice is hereby given that the NOMINATION of Candidates for election to the office of Councillor for High Ward, in room of Councillor Keith Ramsay, resigned (elected Mayor), will be declared on FRIDAY, 31st July, 1874, at the Terrace of the Provincial Council Chambers, Water-street, at the hour of 12 o’clock noon.
Nominations, in form of Schedule D of the Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865, may be lodged at the Town Clerk’s office, Manse-street (where blank forms may be obtained), on or before NOON of the day herein fixed for the declaration.

To George Coupar, owner of Section 26, Block XII, Jacob’s River Hundred.
Take Notice, that I desire that the boundary, or separating fence between Section 26, Block XII, and Section 27, Block XII, Jacob’s River Hundred, shall be made immediately, and that said fence shall be a three sod fence with stakes for two wires, and ditch on both sides.

- One dark brown horse, branded L near shoulder.
- One black filly, like CJ near shoulder.
- One dark bay filly, blotch brand, off shoulder.
- One grey horse, branded W, near shoulder.
Owner unknown, for trespassing on the Hundred, for which 5s. per head is claimed, and in default of being released, the above horses will be sold at the public pound, at Islabank on Friday, the 7th day of August, 1874, at 12 o’clock noon.
