PROCLAMATION.

Cancelling a certain Proclamation dated the 28th day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy, so far as it relates to Section 1 Block III. Tuapeka West District.

By His Honor James Macandrew Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

JAMES MACANDREW, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Province, and in exercise of the powers vested in me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare a certain proclamation dated the 28th day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy, setting apart Crown lands in the Otago Gold Field for the purpose of granting Agricultural Leases and published in the Otago Provincial Government Gazette of date the 4th day of January 1871, to be cancelled so far as it relates to section one (1) Block three (III) Tuapeka West District.

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Otago, in the presence of Robert Stout and Donald Reid Esquires, two of the members of the said Executive Council of the said Province, being also members of the Provincial Council thereof, this eleventh day of July one thousand eight hundred and seventy four.

PROCLAMATION.

Altering the boundaries of the Subdivisions of the North Taieri Road District.

By His Honor John Theodore Thomas Boyd Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS by the seventh section of the “Otago Roads Ordinance 1871 Amendment Ordinance 1874,” it is provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent upon the recommendation of the Provincial Council from time to time by Proclamation in the Gazette, to alter the boundaries and to increase or diminish the area of any subdivision or subdivisions of any district, notwithstanding that any district or any subdivision or subdivisions of any district may already have been constituted by the “Otago Roads Ordinance 1871,” or by any Proclamation thereunder. And whereas the Provincial Council has recommended the alteration of the boundaries of the subdivisions of the North Taieri Road District:

Now therefore, I, John Theodore Thomas Boyd, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby, under and by virtue of the power and authority vested in me by the seventh section of the “Otago Roads Ordinance 1871 Amendment Ordinance 1874,” proclaim and declare the boundaries of the subdivisions of the North Taieri Road District to be altered as follows, that is to say:

That the North Plain Subdivision be bounded towards the north by the boundary of Hundreds, towards the east by the Half-way Bush Road District, towards the south by the line dividing sections 1 and 7 Block XIII, Taieri District, and its continuation through Blocks XIII, V, and VI, to the Saddle Hill and West Taieri Road, thence along that road to section 10, Block XI, towards the south-west by section 10, Block XI, sections 4 and 10, Block XVI, and section 57, Irregular Block, Taieri District, and sections 26, 38, 14, 12, and 11, Block I, Dunedin and East Taieri District, and a line through Bush Reserve to the Taieri River; and towards the west by the Taieri River; and that the Wingatui Subdivision be bounded towards the north-west by North Plain Subdivision, towards the north-east by Half-way Bush and Kaikorai Road Districts, towards the south-east by the Kaikorai Road District, and towards the south-west by the Saddle Hill and West Taieri Road.

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Otago at Dunedin, this twenty-fourth day of July one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.
