NORTH TAIERI ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby Given, that the above Board intend to form a road line on part sections 41, 45, and 46, Freestone block, S. 6, and 12, block XLII., and tenders for the same will be received up to 100 links wide, and under the authority and powers vested in the Board, as per “Highway Boards Empowering Act,” together with the “Lands Consolidation Act.” The plan of the above road can be seen by any person interested for 40 days from this date, at the School House, Mosgiel, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.; and any persons affected by the above are required to state their objections in writing, and forward to the Board within 40 days from this date; and the Board will meet to hear and decide upon objections (if any) on Monday the 6th day of July, 1874 at 7 p.m.

PALMERSTON INCORPORATED TOWN.
PUBLIC Notice is hereby Given, that the Assessment of all buildings, lands, tenements, and hereditaments within the Unincorporated Town of Palmerston, authorised by the Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, Amendment Ordinance, 1855, and the Municipal Corporations Ordinance Amendment Ordinance, 1872, for the year ending 31st December, 1874, according to the full, fair, and estimated annual rent at which the same might reasonably be expected to let from year to year, free of all usual tenant’s rates and taxes; and deducting therefrom the probable average annual costs of repairs, insurance, and other expenses (if necessary) to maintain the same in a state to command such rent, has been duly made. Notice is further given, that the said Assessment having, on the 20th day of April, 1874, been allowed by the Council of the said Town, is now deposited and may be inspected at the Town Clerk’s office, Town Hall, Campbell-street, in the said town, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., by any person interested therein.
And Notice is further Given, that any Appeal against the assessment may be lodged at the Town Clerk’s office aforesaid (three forms may be obtained) on or before Monday, the 18th day of May, 1874. Also, that a copy of each Notice of Appeal is required by law to be served not later than the 4th prox., upon any person whose property it may be alleged has been omitted therefrom, or assessed below its full, fair, and annual value.
