NOTICE.
PROVINCIAL COMPULSORY LANDS TAKING ACT, 1866.
NOTICE is hereby Given, that it is intended to introduce a Bill into the Provincial Council of the Province of Otago at its next session, authorising the Superintendent of the Province of Otago to take compulsorily, for the purpose of making a Road in the District of Waitahuna West, parts of sections numbered respectively one (1), two (2), three (3), and four (4), block six (VI.), Waitahuna West District; and Notice is hereby further Given, that a copy of the Bill so intended to be introduced as aforesaid, may be inspected at the office of the Clerk of the Provincial Council, on and after the twentieth day of April next.

BRIDGE OVER KAWARAU RIVER.
CONDITIONAL TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 14th April, from persons desirous of erecting a Bridge over the Kawarau river near Morven Ferry.
Conditions may be inspected at the office of the Provincial Engineer and at the Police Camp, Arrow.

To be Managers, along with Mr. Joseph Johnston, formerly appointed, of the above Cemetery.

FRESH TENDERS
Fresh Tenders will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Tuesday, 14th April, 1874, for Contracts Nos. 882 and 885, Maintenance of the following portions of Road, viz.:-
- Hillside Tollgate to 3rd mile-post, and between 7th and 9th mile-posts, on road Dunedin to East Taieri.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin.
Tenders to be indorsed “Tender for Contract No. 882” or “885, as the case may be. The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lately reclaimed land sections Nos. 1 to 7, block LII, Dunedin, containing upwards of 1 rood each, suitable for manufacturing purposes, and adjacent to the Railway Station, will be offered for sale, under special conditions, by public auction, by Mr. James Milner, at the Land Office, Dunedin, at noon on Tuesday, the 19th day of May, 1874. For terms and conditions apply at the office of the Secretary for Works on and after Monday, the 20th April, 1874.
