INSTRUCTIONS have been given to the various Gold Receivers to receive parcels of Gold for transmission to the Melbourne Mint. Each parcel to be not less than ten ounces, and to have the weight of the contents written thereon by the transmitters.
The parcels must be lodged with the Receivers the day preceding the departure of the next Escort.
All information may be obtained from the Receivers.

To Applicants for Unsurveyed Land, under “Otago Waste Land Act, 1872.”
IT is hereby notified to the Applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that they have been declared to be the purchasers of the sections set opposite their names in the schedule, and that the purchase money of these sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue in Invercargill, on or before Wednesday, the 4th day of March, 1874, otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled, and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.
