NOTICE is hereby given—1st. That WILLIAM M‘CULLOCH has withdrawn his application for Section 11, Block III., Benger, made under the Agricultural Lease Regulations. The said section is again open for application. 2nd. That the application by GEORGE BIRSS under the Agricultural Lease Regulations for Section 41, Block IV., Croopston, having been refused, the same is again open for application.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore carried on by the undersigned as Sawmillers, Timber Merchants, Builders, and Contractors, at Woodlands, in Otago, under the style or firm of Strang and Company, is dissolved by mutual consent, as from the twelfth day of January, instant. All accounts against the said Firm are requested to be sent to the undersigned John Ramsay, at Woodlands, forthwith, who is authorised to pay all accounts due by, and to collect all debts due to, said Firm.

IMPOUNDED on the 19th day of January, 1874, by John F. Herbert, Ardmore Station:—
1 chestnut mare, branded W off shoulder; indistinct like H off neck; also
1 bay colt, blase in face; no visible brand.

Supposed to belong to Jno. Kelly, for trespassing on Ardmore Station, for which five shillings driving per head is claimed, and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, on Friday, the 13th day of February, 1874, at 12 o’clock noon.

STRAYED from Green Island on 23rd December, 1873. One Chesnut Horse, 4-year old, Cob tail, white on off hind leg; branded— near shoulder; and One Dark Bay Horse, 3-year old, switch tail; branded near shoulder. There is a wart on near hind foot. Five Pounds will be given for their recovery.

SECTION 9, Block VIII., Dunedin and East Taieri District, previously advertised for sale by auction on the 20th February, 1874, has been withdrawn, pending its re-survey into small sections.

WHALING BONUS, £500.

THE Provincial Government will pay £250 by way of Bonus to the first vessel which leaves the Province fully equipped for a whaling cruise; also £250 on her returning to the Province with a cargo of oil: Provided that such vessel is owned in, and hails from, a port within the Province. Vessel not to be under 150 tons. Provided also that she carries at least five boys as apprentices. Bonus will be paid on production of certificate from the Harbor Master that these provisions have been complied with.

FREE Nominated Immigration.—Forms of application and Regulations may be obtained at any of the School-houses and Police Offices out of Dunedin.
