along the Canterbury boundary to a point north of the north-west angle of Lake Alabaster, thence southerly to Lake Alabaster, along margin of lake and by Pyke’s Creek, will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Survey Office, Queenstown, on the above date, in terms of the "Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872," at the upset price of 3d per acre. Rental to be an assessment of three shillings and sixpence for every head of great cattle, or 7d for every head of small cattle, to be depastured on the Run; but the minimum stock on which assessment shall be charged not to be less than 5000 sheep. Lease to commence on 30th January, 1874. A deposit of one-tenth of the purchase money, and of the annual rent shall be payable on the fall of the hammer, the balance within a month.

Notice is hereby given that block III and IV, Teviot District, on the east bank of the Clutha, will be open for application at the Land Office, Clyde, on the 20th Feb., 1874.
The blocks are divided into sections of about 50 acres each.
Applications must be accompanied by a deposit of 1s 3d per acre, which will be credited to the first year’s purchase money.
The price will be an annual payment of 2s 6d per acre, for ten years, when, if the conditions are fulfilled, the land becomes the freehold of the applicant.

Notice is hereby given, that a block of 5000 acres of agricultural land in Waikaka and Chatton Districts will be surveyed into suitable sections, and opened for application on deferred payment, at the Land Office, Invercargill, on the 20th April, 1874.
Price, 2s 6d per acre per annum for ten years, with certain conditions as to improvement.

Notice is hereby given, that block II, Highlay District, to the east of block I, already surveyed, will be surveyed into suitable sections, and opened for application on deferred payments on the 20th April, 1874, at the Land Office, Naseby.
The purchase money will be payable at the rate of 2s 6d per acre per annum (in advance) for ten years, when, if the conditions are fulfilled, the land will become the freehold of the applicant.
SECTION 9, Block VIII., Dunedin and East Taieri District, previously advertised for sale by auction on the 20th February, 1874, has been withdrawn, pending its re-survey into small sections.

WE hereby give Notice that we intend to construct a Water Race for sheep-washing, irrigation, and domestic purposes, commencing at a point on the Pigburn stream, about a quarter of a mile above Hamilton, and terminating in our homestead freehold.
The length of such water-race is three quarters of a mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is nearly north and south.
The mean depth and breadth of such water-race is 2ft. by 1ft. 6in., and it is capable of carrying three sluice heads of water.

BRIDGE OVER CLUTHA RIVER, AT ALEXANDRA.
CONDITIONAL Tenders will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until Tuesday, 10th February, from persons desirous of erecting a Bridge over the Clutha River, contiguous to the site of present punt.
Conditions may be inspected at the office of the Provincial Engineer, and at the Police Camp, Alexandra.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Friday, 23rd January, 1874, for Contract No. 1.—Construction of the Waipori Drainage Channel.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Provincial Engineer, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Waipori.
Tenders to be indorsed “Waipori Drainage Channel, Tender for Contract No. 1.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
