NOTICE is hereby given that the lease for ten years of the above run, situated near Martin’s Bay, West Coast, and bounded as follows, commencing at the junction of Pykes Creek with the Hollyford River, thence by a line running due east to the summit of the watershed at the head of the right-hand branch of the Routeburn, thence by a line to Cosmo peak, thence by a line due north to Canterbury boundary, thence westerly along the Canterbury boundary to a point north of the north-west angle of Lake Alabaster, thence southerly to Lake Alabaster along margin of lake and by Pykes Creek, will be offered for sale by public auction, on the above date, in terms of the Otago Waste Lands Act 1872, at the upset price of ¼d per acre. Rental to be an assessment of three shillings and sixpence for every head of great cattle, or 7d for every head of small cattle to be depastured on the run; but the minimum stock on which assessment shall be charged not to be less than 5000 sheep.
