NOTICE is hereby given that the Government have agreed to cancel the undermentioned portion of the agricultural lease issued to George Kirk, for section 4, block XI., Skipper’s Creek district.

All that portion of section 4, block XI., Skippers creek district, containing 7 acres 2 roods and 12 perches, more or less, and comprised by the following boundary lines, viz., starting at the north-east angle of said section, thence along eastern boundary by a line running 1173 links bearing 208° 08'; thence by a line running 600 links bearing 293° 08'; thence by a line running 1353 links bearing 23° 06'; thence along northern boundary of said section 4 by line running 627 links bearing 129° 57' to starting point.

All that piece or parcel of land containing ten (10) acres more or less, being portion of section two (2) x block one (I), Cardrona district, and comprised by the following boundary lines, viz.—Commencing at the north-western angle of said section 2, thence by a straight line running 1698 links bearing 59° 17' 22"; thence by line running 400 links bearing 162° 09' 55"; thence by line running 1639 links bearing 268° 43'; thence by line running 812 links bearing 342° 86' to starting point—all bearings being on the true meridian.

ELECTION OF A BOARD OF WARDENS FOR THE TUAPEKA DEPASTURING DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given that an election of a Board of Wardens for the Tuapeka Depasturing District will be held at the Court-house, Lawrence, on Saturday, the 20th December next; and that nominations of candidates, in form prescribed by the Depasturing Regulations, will be received by the Warden, on or before Friday, the 19th of that month.

TENDERS wanted by Green Island Subdivision of Suburban Road Board for extending approaches to bridge, and metalling the same; also for supplying 160 yards (more or less) of broken metal, and for executing other earth works. Plans, &c., to be seen with W. Thomson.

Tenders to be sent in not later than the 15th December to Chairman of Board.

The Board will meet at the Bridge on Friday, the 12th, to show the works.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
