No. 4.—Formation and Metal, Seal Point Road. Mr G. Boyles will show the work on Wednesday, the 3rd December, at 3 p.m. Tenders to be lodged with the undersigned not later than 2 p.m. on Saturday, the 6th December.

The lowest tender not necessarily accepted.

TENDERS are invited by the Blueskin Road Board for the following Works:

No. 1.—Formation of 30 chains of Deborah Bay Road. Mr R. Lean, The Rocks, will show the work on Monday, Nov. 10, at 11 o’clock.

No. 2.—Formation of 20 chains, more or less, of Deborah Bay Road, commencing from School-house, to the road to Pullen Point. Mr Closs will show the work on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 o’clock.

No. 3.—Formation of 20 chains of Road leading from Blueskin Township to Blueskin and Port Chalmers Road. Also, Clearing about 10 chains of Boulders, Scrub, &c. The work to be shown by Mr Sime on Monday, Nov. 10, at 11 o’clock.

Tenders to be lodged at Post-office, Port Chalmers, not later than noon, Nov. 15. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

RAILWAY REFRESHMENT ROOMS, PORT CHALMERS.

TENDERS will be received at the Provincial Government Offices, Dunedin, until noon of Friday, 5th December, 1873, for these premises for the year 1874. The Government will not be bound to accept the highest or any tender.

TENDERS are invited for sundry Works in connection with North-East Valley School-house and Dwelling-house. Specifications to be seen at the School-house. Tenders to be lodged with the Schoolmaster on or before Friday, 5th December.

BLUESKIN Road Board.—Tenders are invited for the following works:

Contract No. 3.—Formation of about 20 chains of road from Deborah Bay School House to Pullen Point. Work to be shown by Mr Closs, December 16, at 11 a.m.

Contract No. 4.—Building Bridge similar to present one, Blueskin township. Specifications at Mr A. Wilson’s, Blueskin.

Contract No. 5.—Widening about 50 chains of road, Purakanui Bay. Plans and specifications may be seen at the office of Messrs Stewart and Doughty, Manse street, Dunedin, and at the house of the undersigned. Work to be shown December 16, at 2 p.m.

Tenders to be sent in not later than December 20th.

APPLICATIONS will be received by Mr. John H. Baker, Survey Office, Invercargill, from persons wishing to lease any of the Reserves as formerly advertised. Copies of the Otago Regulations and conditions for the Leasing of Education Reserves can be obtained from Mr Baker, Invercargill.

WASTE LAND BOARD ADVERTISEMENTS

TUESDAY, 9th December, at noon.

NOTICE is hereby given that section 26, block 2, Warepa District, containing 35a. 1r. 26p., will be offered for sale by public auction, at Mr Barr’s Hall, Balclutha, on Tuesday, the 9th day of December next, at noon, at the upset price of £1 1s per acre.

NOTICE to Applicants for Unsurveyed Land under Otago Waste Lands Act 1866.—The Sections in the subjoined Schedule being now surveyed, the Applicants are informed that the Waste Land Board will give its decision on their applications at this Office on Thursday, the 10th day of December, 1873, at 11 o’clock noon; or before which day objections to the survey, if any, must be made. In the event of the applications being granted, the purchase-money may be paid forthwith.

SALE OF RUN 454, MANUKA ISLAND, WANAKA LAKE.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Lease for ten years of the above Run, containing 300 acres, will be offered for sale by public auction at the Survey Office, Clyde, on Monday, the 29th day of December next, at noon, in terms of the Otago Waste Lands Act 1872, at the upset price of one halfpenny per acre. Rental to be an assessment of sevenpence for every head of small cattle to be depastured on the Run, but the minimum number not to be less than 300 sheep. Lease to commence on the 1st day of January, 1874. The proportion of the rental for the year ending 1st October, 1874, and a deposit of one-tenth of the purchase-money shall be payable on the fall of the hammer; the balance of the purchase within a month.

NOTICE to Applicants for Unsurveyed Land under Otago Waste Land Act 1872.—It is hereby notified to the Applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that they have been declared to be the purchasers of the Sections set opposite their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase-money of these Sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue in Invercargill on or before Wednesday, the 10th day of December, 1873, otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled, and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.
