The remainder of the unsold land in Invercargill, south of the Puni creek, will be open for application on Monday, the 1st day of December proximo, in half-acre sections, at an upset price of £10 per section, in accordance with the Resolution of the Provincial Council.

In order to obtain the privilege of depasturing cattle on the Hundreds during the year 1874, and to give a right to vote at the election of Wardens.

The license fee is 2s. 6d.

Forms and licenses may be obtained from the Rangers and at this office.

RATEPAYERS of Pine Hill, Sowyers Bay, Harlington, and West Harbour are hereby notified that on Saturday, the 22nd November, the Collector will attend at the North-east Valley schoolhouse from 12 till 1 p.m.; and all Rates unpaid on this date will be recovered as usual without further notice.

PORTOBELLO ROAD DISTRICT.

NOTICE. — The Road Rates for the year ending June 30th, 1874, being now due, Ratepayers are particularly requested to pay their respective rates without delay, that the Board may be enabled to proceed with the necessary works in the district in the proper road-making season.

N.B. — The Collector will be in attendance at the following places for the convenience of Ratepayers, viz.:

• Sandymount schoolhouse on Wednesday, 3rd of Dec., from 3 to 5 p.m.
• Mr W. Allan’s, Portobello Road, on Thursday, 4th of Dec., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Mr G. Green’s, Broad Bay, same day, from 2 to 4 p.m.
• Portobello schoolhouse, on Friday, 5th of Dec., from 3 to 5 p.m.
