TENDERS

Tenders will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Friday, 31st October, 1873, for

Contract No. 771.--Reclamation of portion of Upper Otago Harbour.

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.

Tenders to be indorsed "Reclamation—Tender for Contract No. 771."

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

SPORTING POWDER.—Tenders will be received at the Provincial Government Offices, Dunedin, until noon of Friday, 17th October current, for the purchase of about 60lbs sporting powder, in 1lb canisters, at present in the powder magazine.


TENDERS will be received by the Seaside District Road Board until noon on Monday, the 10th Nov. next, for road works in said district. Mr. Hugh Graham will point out the works in the Walton subdivision to intending contractors, on the 27th instant; and Messrs. McPhail and Rutley, that in the Brighton subdivision, on the same day. All tenders to be lodged with the Chairman, Mr. Thomas Howarth, Walton Park. The Board does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TAIERI ROAD BOARD—BREADALBANE SUBDIVISION.

TENDERS Wanted for Gravelling Road in the Breadalbane Subdivision.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.

TENDERS are invited for certain repairs on roads, North-east Valley also for providing 150 cubic yards road metal 2 ½ inch, for No. 1 Road. Hauling specifications at North-east Valley schoolhouse. Tenders received at schoolhouse till 2 p.m. on Saturday, the 18th October. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted by the Board.

WASTE LAND BOARD ADVERTISEMENTS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the land in Tuapeka West District, being parts of blocks 2, 3, and 5, containing an area of 5000 acres, and proclaimed open for leasing on deferred payments, is withdrawn until the survey is completed.
