TAKE NOTICE that in terms of section one hundred and three (103) of the “Otago Waste Lands Act 1872,” the Waste Lands Board of the Province of Otago hereby call upon and require you, as the holders of the pastoral lease of Run No. 218 (which run is included within the boundaries of the Otago Gold Fields,) to exercise your right to apply for an agricultural lease under the provisions of section 103a of the said Act, of a block not exceeding six hundred and forty (640) acres in extent of the land comprised in the said pastoral lease, not actually known to be auriferous.
And further take notice that if you fail or neglect to make application for an agricultural lease within three months from and after the date of the service of this notice, you will be deemed to have declined to exercise your right to obtain an agricultural lease under the provisions of the said Act.

GAZETTE.—There was a special Gazette published on Friday, 27th June, 1873; and one also on Tuesday, July 1, 1873.
GAZETTE.—Parties who get the “Gazette,” or who may apply for it, should give as part of their address the nearest, or most convenient post town. The Gazette has little chance of reaching parties unless that is done.
OTAGO LAND ACT 1872 may be obtained from the Government Storekeeper, Dunedin. Price, 2s 6d; if posted, 3s 2d. The usual allowance to the trade. Postage stamps cannot be received in payment.
