Owner unknown, trespassing on Lindsay’s farm, for which £1 5s is claimed; and in default of being released, the above cow will be sold at the public Pound at East Taieri on Friday, 13th June, 1873, at twelve o’clock noon.

NOTICE is hereby given, that by virtue of a writ of Fieri Facias, to me directed and delivered, issued out of this honorable Court in this cause, on the thirty-first day of January last, and in pursuance of “The Execution of Judgments against Real Estate Act, 1867,” all the estate and interest of the above-named Alexander McPherson, the execution debtor, in all that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement twenty perches, more or less, situate in the town of Roxburgh, in the Province of Otago, in New Zealand, being the north-east moiety of Section numbered eight (8) Block six (VI), on the map of the said Town of Roxburgh, bounded towards the north-west by Section six, one hundred and twenty-five links, towards the north-east by Cheviot street one hundred links, towards the south-east by section ten, one hundred and twenty-five links, and towards the south west by the other moiety of the said Section eight, one hundred links, the memorial of judgment of which was registered in the office of the Registrar of Deeds in Dunedin, in the Province aforesaid, on the first day of February last, has at the suit of the above-named Thomas Hammond, the execution creditor, been levied upon and taken in execution, and will be sold by public auction at the Sheriff’s Bailiff’s Office, Supreme Courthouse, in Dunedin, on Thursday, the 31st day of July, at twelve o’clock at noon, unless the said execution shall be previously satisfied.
Dated in Dunedin, this twenty-fourth day of April, 1873.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Circuit Court Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of criminal and civil business will be holden in the Courthouse, at Lawrence, on Monday, the ninth day of June next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon; at which time and place all persons bound by recognisances or otherwise to appear as prosecutors, plaintiffs, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

TO THE DISTRICT OFFICER AT SWITZERS.
I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a water race for the purpose of driving machinery, commencing at a point in the Dome Creek, opposite section 21 block I, Wendon district, and terminating on section 28 of the said block. The length of such race is one and a half miles, or thereabouts, and its intended course is north and south, and is capable of carrying two sluice heads of Water.

RIVERTON CEMETERY.
RULES AND REGULATIONS made in pursuance of Section V of the Cemetery Reserves Management Ordinance 1864, for the management of the public cemetery at Riverton.

The managers shall divide a portion of the Cemetery into Three Classes, viz:

Class A. Being ground of which the perpetual and exclusive right may be acquired with the privilege of enclosing the ground, and of erecting head-stones or other monuments thereon. A portion of ground of this Class shall be staked off in lots of 8 feet by 10. These lots shall be sold for £3 each.

Class B. These lots shall be 8 feet by 4, and shall be sold for £1 each; permission shall be given to fence the lots in either of those Classes on payment of a fee of 10s for each lot, or to erect a memorial stone on any of them on payment of a fee of 10s.

Class C. Being a portion of ground which has been set aside for the interment of such persons as are not purchasers of, and have not acquired a right to private ground. Tombstones will be allowed on the payment of a fee of 5s.
General Regulations.

All graves to be 6 feet deep, but in the event of the purchasers of private ground desiring a greater depth, an extra charge of 3s 6d shall be made for every foot more than 6 feet deep in 1st Class, and 3s per foot in 2nd Class graves.

The Clerk shall provide all necessary furniture and attendance for properly conducting interments.
