TO THE DISTRICT OFFICER AT NASEBY.

The length of such race is two miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is through land leased by me from the Crown, and through private land belonging to Bernhard Luks. The mean depth and breadth of such race is about nine inches deep and one foot broad, and it is capable of carrying two sluice heads of water.
