TO THE DISTRICT OFFICER AT SWITZERS.
HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a water race for the purpose of driving machinery, commencing at a point in the Dome Creek, opposite section 21, block I, Wendon district, and terminating on section 28 of the said block. The length of such race is one and a half miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is north and south, and is capable of carrying two sluice heads of water.

TO THE DISTRICT OFFICER AT QUEENSTOWN.
District of Queenstown,
17th April, 1873.
HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a Water Race for the purpose of driving a Woollen Factory and Flour Mill, commencing at the One and Two Mile Creeks, at the points where the water races owned by me take their rise, and terminating at section 1, block XVII, town of Queenstown.
The length of such race is three-quarters of a mile, or thereabouts, and its intended course is towards the east and will run through Crown lands, my private property, section three, block XX., Shotover District, and will cross Glasgow street, Kilmarnock street, Northumberland street, Lake street, Lake Esplanade or Beach street.
The mean depth and breadth of such race is fifteen inches by twenty-four inches, and it is capable of carrying three (3) sluice-heads of water.

HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a water race for irrigation purposes, commencing at a point on the Shortburn Creek, Half-Way Bay, ten chains above where the survey line of Block I, South Wakatipu District, cuts the same creek and terminating at section number 15, Block I, South Wakatipu District.
The length of such race is fifty chains, or thereabouts, and its intended course is north and south, and is to be constructed on the west side of a Government surveyed road, running past sections 37, 27, and 26, Block I, South Wakatipu District.
The mean depth and breadth of such water race is twenty inches by thirty inches, and it is capable of carrying four sluice-heads of water.

District of Naseby.
HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a water race for the purposes of irrigation and wool-scouring, commencing at a point in swampy ground to the south-west of sections 3 and 4, Waikouaiti District, and terminating in the pre-emptive right of Run 255. The length of such race is two miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is through land leased by me from the Crown, and through private land belonging to Bernhard Luks. The mean depth and breadth of such race is about nine inches deep and one foot broad, and it is capable of carrying two sluice heads of water.
