also for completing a Road in the North-East Valley
Road District, parts of sections numbered one (1) and

tions numbered thirty (30), thirty-one (31), and thirty-three
(33), Sawyer's Bay District, Province of Otago afore-
said; and for the purpose of completing a road in the
Kaikorai Road District, part of section numbered
thirty-two (32), block one (1), Dunedin and East Taieri
Surrey District of the Province of Otago aforesaid;
also for the purpose of completing a road in the North
Taieri Road District, parts of sections numbered respec-
tively forty-four (44), forty-five (45), and forty-six (46),
irregular block, East Taieri District, five (5), six (6), and
twelve (12), block thirteen (XIII), and one (1), block ten
(V), East Taieri District of the Province of Otago afore-
said; and for the purpose of completing a road line
in the Portobello Road District, parts of sections numbered
respectively four (4) and five (5), block three (III), Otago
Peninsula District. And notice is hereby further given,
that a copy of the Bill so intended to be introduced as
aforesaid, may be inspected at the office of the Clerk of the
Provincial Council of Otago aforesaid, on and after the
second April, day of 1873.

persons desirous of constructing a bridge over the river
Clutha at Clyde.

Contract, No. 733. Erection of Stone Bridge over
Murray's Flat Creek, at Havelock.

tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads
and Works, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Waitahuna.
Tenders to be indorsed "Roads and Works Tender
for Contract No. 733."
The Government does not undertake to accept the

FRESH TENDERS will be received at the Office of

22nd April, 1873, for
Contract No. 726.—Construction of Timber Bridge
over ditch at Toll-gate, Anderson's Bay Road.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and the
tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads
and Works, Dunedin.

The Government does not undertake to accept the
lowest or any tender.
FIREWOOD, SOUTHLAND.
TENDERS will be received at the Government Offices,
Dunedin, until noon of Friday, 2nd May, 1873, from
parties willing to supply the Gaol Department, Invercar-
gill, with Firewood until 31st December, 1873.
Tenders to state price per cord for Manuka and also
Mixed Firewood, stating the kind and the average of
each kind of firewood to be supplied in making up the
cord of mixed. Tenderer to stack the firewood as di-
rected by the Gaoler.
The Government will not be bound to accept any
tender.
MOUNT IDA WATER WORKS.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secre-
tary for Works, until noon of Tuesday, 6th May,
1873, for
Contract, No. 6.—Construction of Ten miles of Head-
race.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of
tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads
and Works, Dunedin; and at Police Camp, Naseby.
Tenders to be indorsed Mount Ida Water Works,
"Tender for Contract No. 6."
The Government does not undertake to accept the low-
est or any tender.
