Clyde Land District comprises all that area bounded by a
line starting from Fox Peak in a north-easterly direction to
the boundary of the Province thence along the said said
boundary to a point due north of Longslip Mountain thence
southerly over Longslip Mountain and along the eastern
watershed of Lindis Peak to Mount St. Bathan's, thence along
the Dunstan Mountains and Tigerley Creek to the Manuherikia
River thence north-easterly along the Manuherikia River to
the junction of Poolburn, thence south-easterly along Pool-
burn and the north-eastern boundary of Run 261 to Rough-
ridge thence south-easterly along Roughridge Hill to South
Roughridge Hill thence along the ridge to Tigerley Creek
thence westerly by the ranges and across the Clutha River to
Mount Benger thence to Whitecombe thence north-westerly
with the range thence to Hunter Mountains, thence in a
northerly direction along the eastern boundary of Queenstown
Land District to Fox Peak the starting point.

Queenstown Land District comprises all that area bounded
by a line from East Dome due west to the Mataura River
thence northerly along the Mataura to the Wakatipu Lake
westerly to the western watershed of the Wakatipu Lake
along the western and northern watersheds of the said lake
and the ranges to Fox Peak thence southerly over Black Peak
to Treble Peak thence along the watershed of the Motatapu
River to Cardrona Mountain thence north-easterly to Middle
Peak thence easterly and southerly by the ranges Cardrona
River Boundary Creek and Kirtleburn to the Kawarau River
thence north-westerly along the Kawarau River and the western
watershed of Nevisburn to Glen Nevis thence south-westerly
along the Hector Mountains to the south-western corner of
Run 339 thence south-easterly to the Garvie Mountains at
Remarkable Gap thence south-westerly along the Garvie
Mountains to East Dome the starting point.

Invercargill Land District comprises all that area bounded
by a line from Chasland's Mistake to Black Horn
Hill thence by the watershed line to Bleak Hill thence by a
line to a hill about three miles west-north-west of Catlin's Cone
thence north-westerly to the northern source of the Mokoreta
river thence to and along the Kaiwera stream to the Waipahu
stream thence by the Waipahee stream and the Pomahaka
river to the junction of the Waikoikoi stream thence along the
said stream to the range thence along the watershed of the
Pomahaka river to Wakatipu thence north-westerly over
Titan rocks to the Garvie mountains thence south-westerly
along the Garvie mountains to East Dome thence due west
to the Mataura river thence along the Mataura river to Eyre
peak thence westerly to the western watershed of the Wakatipu
lake thence in a northerly direction along the watershed to a

AGEMENT OF THE PASTURAGE THEREOF.

IN accordance with the Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872,
the Waste Land Board has appointed the persons

act which may be done by Wardens within the Hundreds

REGULATIONS AND BYE-LAWS, OTEPOPO HUNDRED.
1st. The Hundred is capable of depasturing 40 great
cattle, or 200 small cattle.

2nd. Each license-holder may depasture on the unsold
land within the Hundred the number of cattle set oppo-
site to his name, exclusive of those allowed free.

MOERAKI HUNDRED.

1. One head of great cattle may be depastured for
   every 15 acres, or one head of small cattle for every 3
   acres owned or occupied within the Hundred, ex-
   clusive of those entitled to be depastured free.

2. The area for sheep to be west of a line starting
   at head of what is known as Razor-back Gully, straight
   across the western table as is known as Round Hill.
   Great cattle may be depastured on the remainder of the
   Hundred.

3. Any license holder removing cattle from the Hun-
   dred shall, after drafting his own, return all others to
   where he brought them from.

4. Residents in township of Hampden, who have
   taken out licenses, to be allowed to depasture two (2)
   head of great cattle for every acre or part of an acre.

5. Number of great and small cattle, entitled to be
   depastured on the Moeraki Hundred, in terms of Regu-
   lation No. 1, exclusive of those entitled to be depastured
   free.
