Clyde Land District comprises all that area bounded by a line proceeding from Fox Peak in a north-easterly direction to the boundary of the Province thence easterly along the said boundary to a point due north of Longslip Mountain thence southerly over Longslip Mountain and along the eastern watershed of Lindisburn to Mount St. Bathan’s, thence along the Dunstan Mountains and Lander Creek to the Manuherikia River thence north-easterly along the Manuherikia River to the junction of Poolburn, thence south-easterly along Poolburn and the north-eastern boundary of Run 261 to Roughridge thence southerly over North Roughridge Hill to South Roughridge Hill thence along the ranges to Lammerlaw thence westerly by the ranges and across the Clutha River to Mount Benger thence to Whitecoomb thence north-westerly over the Stan Rocks to Carrie Mountains, thence in a northerly direction along the eastern boundary of Queenstown Land District to Fox Peak the starting point.

Queenstown Land District comprises all that area bounded by a line from East Dome due west to the Mataura River thence northerly along the Mataura River to Eyre Peak thence westerly to the western watershed of the Wakatipu Lake and along the western and northern watersheds of the said lake and the ranges to Fox Peak thence southerly over Black Peak to Treble Peak thence along the watershed of the Motatapu River to Cardrona Mountain thence north-easterly to Middle Peak thence easterly and southerly by the ranges the Cardrona River Boundary Creek and Kirtleburn to the Kawarau River thence south-westerly along the Kawarau River and the western watershed of Nevisburn to Ben Nevis thence south-westerly along the Hector Mountains to the south-western corner of Run 389 thence south-easterly to the Carrie Mountains at Remarkable Gap thence south-westerly along the Carrie Mountains to East Dome the starting point.

REGULATIONS AND BYE-LAWS, OTEPOPO HUNDRED.

1st. The Hundred is capable of depasturing 40 great cattle, or 200 small cattle.

2nd. Each license-holder may depasture on the unsold land within the Hundred the number of cattle set opposite to his name, exclusive of those allowed free.

MOERAKI HUNDRED.

1. One head of great cattle may be depastured for every 15 acres, or one head of small cattle for every 3 acres owned or occupied within the Hundred, exclusive of those entitled to be depastured free.

2. The area for sheep to be west of a line starting at head of what is known as Razor-back Gully, straight across the western base of what is known as Round Hill. Great cattle may be depastured on the remainder of the Hundred.

3. Any license holder removing cattle from the Hundred shall, after drafting his own, return all others to where he brought them from.

4. Residents in township of Hampden, who have taken out licenses, to be allowed to depasture two (2) head of great cattle for every acre or part of an acre.

5. Number of great and small cattle, entitled to be depastured on the Moeraki Hundred, in terms of Regulation No. 1, exclusive of those entitled to be depastured free.
