— In consequence of the School Committee having been elected for the following mentioned districts on the 13th January, His Honor the Superintendent has appointed a meeting of the owners and occupiers of land and householders of each district, to be held in the school-houses respectively on Monday, the 14th April, 1873, at 7 o'clock p.m., to elect a School Committee for the current year:—

EDUCATION RESERVES, SOUTHLAND.
APPLICATIONS will be received by Mr. John H. Baker, Survey Office, Invercargill, from persons wishing to lease any of the Reserves as formerly advertised.
Copies of the Otago Regulations, and conditions for the Leasing of Education Reserves, can be obtained from Mr. Baker, Invercargill.
SUPREME COURT.
NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be holden at the Supreme Court House, at Dunedin, on Monday the seventh day of April next, at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS FOR UNSURVEYED LAND, under “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866.”
The Sections in the subjoined Schedule being now surveyed, the applicants are informed that the Waste Land Board will give its decision on their applications at this Office, on Thursday, the 17th day of April, 1873, at 12.30 o’clock; on or before which day, objections to the survey, if any, must be made. In the event of the applications being granted, the purchase money may be paid forthwith.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS for UNSURVEYED LAND, under “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866.”
It is hereby notified to the applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that the Waste Land Board has declared them to be the purchasers of the sections set opposite their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase money of these sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue in Invercargill, on or before Wednesday, the 16th day of April, 1873; otherwise the application will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled, and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.

APPLICATION for LEASE
An application having been made by Messrs Fraser and McLean for a run lease of 5000 acres more or less of country situated between the Manapouri and Monowai Lakes, Waiau west, and bounded towards the north by a small lake south of and running into the Manapouri Lake, towards the east by the Hunter Mountains, towards the south by the Watershed of Monowai Lake, and towards the west by a range of mountains shown on office maps: Notice is hereby given, that a lease of the said country will be granted to the above applicants unless objections are made to the same before Thursday, the 2nd day of October next.
