Contract No. 723, Construction of Bridge over the Pleasant River, on Main North Road.
Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Waikouaiti.
Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 723.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
Tenders will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 8th April, 1873, for —
Contract No. 724 — Formation of 201 chains of road, commencing at the Twelve-mile Creek, Macetown, and terminating at the Big Hill.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD BOARD

EDUCATION MEETINGS
In consequence of the School Committee having been elected for the following mentioned districts on the 18th January, His Honor the Superintendent has appointed a meeting of the owners and occupiers of land and householders respectively, to be held in the school-houses of each district, on Monday, the 14th April, 1873, at 7 o’clock p.m., to elect a School Committee for the current year:—

- Kaihiku — Trotter’s Creek
- Portobello — Sawyer’s Bay
EDUCATION RESERVES, SOUTHLAND
APPLICATIONS will be received by Mr. John H. Baker, Survey Office, Invercargill, from persons wishing to lease any of the Reserves as formerly advertised.
Copies of the Otago Regulations, and conditions for the Leasing of Education Reserves, can be obtained from Mr. Baker, Invercargill.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be held at the Supreme Court House, in Dunedin, on Monday the seventh day of April next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance.
