WANTED Tenders by the Peninsula Road Board for the following works:—
NORTH-WEST HARBOR Subdivision.—For repairing wall and clearing slips on Beach road; altering and metalling No. 1 and repairing No. 2 Roads.
Specifications for the first to be seen at Mr Hooper’s, and for second and third at Mr A. Stuart’s. Messrs Hunter & Hooper will meet intending contractors at the house of the latter at 11 o’clock on the 18th instant, and Messrs Stuart and Hooper will also meet contractors at the house of Mr Roger on the same day at 1 o’clock.
HIGHCLIFF Subdivision.—For procuring and breaking one hundred and twenty-six (126) cubic yards metal for road leading off No. 1.
Specifications to be seen at the residence of Mr Waugh. Messrs Tinock and Waugh will meet contractors at the house of the former, on the 20th instant at 1 o’clock.
ANDERSON’S BAY Subdivision.—For metalling fourteen (14) chains of District Road; also cutting and filling up road line from the residence of Mr F. Grainger to said district road.
Specifications may be seen at the house of Mr Somerville. Works to be shown by Messrs Somerville and Scott on the 23rd instant at 1 o’clock, meeting at the residence of the former. Tenders to be endorsed "Tender Peninsula Road Board," and lodged with the clerk, or, if more convenient, with any of the members of the board, not later than the 1st day of February next, at 11 o’clock a.m.
