Meetings
A MEETING will be held at the School-house,
Tomahawk, on Wednesday, January 21, 1873,
at 2 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of electing a School
Committee for the ensuing year.
Notices
GAZETTE.—Each person who fails to get the
‘Gazette’ regularly will please send at once
to the undersigned the name of the Post Office
to which the ‘Gazette’ should be sent, as it is believed
that in most cases the neglect to put the
Post Office after the name and address of the person is
the main cause why the ‘Gazette’ does not reach its
destination sometimes.

IMMIGRANTS’ PASSAGE-MONEY.—Notice to
Assisted Immigrants who arrived in the Province
before the year 1869.
All immigrants who have arrived in the Province by
ships prior to those referred to in the notice hereunder,
and who have not paid their passage-money, are
requested to do so at once by remitting same to me.
Proceedings will be taken to recover in all cases of non-
payment. When necessary the time for payment will
be extended.—John Logan, Immigration Agent.
IMMIGRATION MONEY.—Assisted Immigrants
by the Ships which arrived during 1869, 1870,
and 1871, are requested to forward to John Logan,
Immigration Agent, Dunedin, the amount of their
passage money. Proceedings will be taken to recover
all cases of non-payment without further notice.
FINAL NOTICE.—Harrington, Signal Hill and
Pine Hill. Ratepayers are hereby informed that
on Saturday first, 28th inst., the collector will attend at
North-East Valley School-house to receive rates for
current year from six to seven p.m., after which date all
rates unpaid will be recovered in a summary way without

WAIPOHI Road District.—Notice. Ratepayers
within the respective subdivisions of the above
District are requested to pay the amount of their
respective rates to me at my house (in the Maungatua
Subdivision of the Waipori Road District) on or before
Friday, the 31st January 1873. For the convenience
of ratepayers I shall attend at the undernoted
places:—Maungatua, Woodside store, from 6 to 8 p.m.
on Thursdays, the 23rd and 30th January 1873; Waihola
Toll-house, from 1 to 4 p.m., on Fridays, the 24th
and 31st January; and at Waipori School-house same
evenings (24th and 31st) from 7 to 8 p.m.—James Sim,
Collector.
MORNINGTON.—The ratepayers of the above-
named District are respectfully requested to pay
the amount of their respective rates for the current
year to me at my house without delay.—J. E. Attwood,
