IMPOUNDED
On the 14th day of November, 1872,
by F. Bassett, one strawberry bullock, branded like T in circle on ribs, and hoop horns; owner unknown; trespassing on road line, for which five shillings damages are claimed for driving expenses, and in default of being released the above bullock will be sold at the Public Pound at Inch Clutha, on Friday, the 13th day of December, 1872, at twelve o’clock noon.—F. Bassett, Poundkeeper of the Inch Clutha Pound.
IMPOUNDED

by Jeremiah M’Lean, Ranger, Aparima, one brindled steer, branded like 2 V off hip; one strawberry cow, branded indistinct off shoulder; one strawberry steer, no brands visible; one strawberry heifer, no brands visible; for trespass on hundred. If not claimed the above cattle will be sold at the public pound at Wallacetown, on the 13th day of December, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon.—F. Pelling, Poundkeeper of the Wallacetown Pound.
IMPOUNDED
19th November, 1872, at Leaning Rock, Clyde Pound, by Mr. D. Stronach, manager Ida Valley Station, one strawberry cow, branded like GG near ribs; one red cow, like I near rump; one red and white cow, no visible brands; one red and white cow, like R reversed conjoined to L off rump, like do with B underneath off ribs; HV with D in square underneath, near rump; one red and white cow, like M off shoulder; for which 4s. 6d. per head is claimed expenses, and in default of the above stock being released they will be sold on Friday, 13th December, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon.—William Williams, Poundkeeper, Leaning Rock, Clyde Pound.

The Steer advertised to be sold on the 29th has been claimed by one Donald McMaster.—Samuel O’Kay, Pound Keeper of the Otakia Pound.
The Bullock that was advertised in the Gazette has been claimed, branded (T).—F. Bassett, Poundkeeper, Inch Clutha. November 20, 1872.
NOTICE
NOTICE is Hereby Given that I am about to erect a dividing fence between my sections No. 55 and 56, and those of John Pearson, numbered 51 and 52, block II, Tuapeka district.—Mrs. Smith. 3t 7s 6d
To Mr. John Boyd, or owner of Section 31, Block III, Winton Hundred, Southland.—Take Notice, that I desire the boundary or separating fence between Section 31, held by you, and Section 32, be made immediately on or before December, 1872, and that such fence shall be a ditch, two wires and a top-rail. TAKE Notice that I desire the boundary or separating fence between your section and Sections 4 and 5, Block I, to be made immediately, and that such fence shall be a substantial wire fence, at least four feet in height, having not less than five wires and top rail; posts two feet in the ground, and not more than eight feet asunder; and that failing the erection of your half of the said fence, I shall cause the same to be erected at your costs and charges.

Miss Ann Watson Couper, an assisted Immigrant, who arrived in Dunedin from Scotland in the ship “Victory,” in 1863, and is now about 26 years of age.
James Thomas Couch, formerly of St. Austill, Cornwall, England; went to America, and thence to New Zealand, within the last ten years. It is not stated to what part of New Zealand Couch came; and it is supposed that he died in this Colony.
