SUPREME COURT CIRCUIT SITTING.
NOTICE is hereby given that a Circuit Court Sitting
of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Civil
and Criminal Business will be held, in the Court-house,
at Lawrence, on Monday, the ninth day of December
next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at
which time and place all persons bound by recognizances
to appear as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses are
required to give their attendance.

named in the Schedule to the said Ordinance, viz.,
"Licensed Auctioneers Ordinance 1862," "Licensing
Ordinance 1865," with the various amendments "Dog
Nuisance Ordinance 1862," "Licensed Carriages Ordinance 1862." "The Licensed Hawkers Ordinances
1864," "Goat Nuisance Ordinance 1868," "Licensed
Theatres Ordinance 1862," with amendment—are
informed that the same are in the press. Price and
other particulars in next Gazette.

RICHTON Road District.—Notice.—Ratepayers
in the above-named district are requested to pay
the amount of their respective rates to me at my house
on or before the 16th day of December next.

IMPOUNDED, on the 9th day of November, 1872,
by Mr Chapman, of Maniototo Plains, one black
horse, no visible brands, owner unknown, for trespassing
on his run, for which the sum of ten shillings is required;
and, in default of being released, the above
horse will be sold at the public pound, at Macraes, on
Friday, the 13th day of December, 1872, at twelve
o’clock noon.—KERR CLARFY, Poundkeeper of the
Macraes Flat Pound.
BLUESKIN Road District.—Notice.—All rates
due within the late road districts of Purakanui,
Blueskin, and Deborah Bay, are hereby requested to be
paid to me at my residence at Purakanui within thirty
days from the date hereof, otherwise legal proceedings
will be instituted for the recovery thereof.
For the convenience of Ratepayers I shall attend at
the Blueskin Toll House from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday,
6th and Saturday 14th December; and at the School-
house, Lower Harbour, from 1 to 4 p.m., on Saturday,
December 7th.—JOSEPH MAWSON, Clerk and Collector,

IMPOUNDED, 13th day of November, 1872, by Mr.
J. Loughnan, Mount Pisa Station, one roan cow,
brands; one red and white cow, no visible brands;
one yellow and white heifer, calf at foot, no visible
brands; for which ten shillings per head is claimed on
branded like HH near shoulder; one yellow and white
heifer, calf at foot, no visible brands; one yellow and
white cow, like H near rump, W off ribs; one white
steer like H off hip; one strawberry cow, like 92 off
rump; one red and white heifer, calf at foot, no visible
five of the above cattle, to three calves, for which five
shillings per head is claimed damages and expenses, and
in default of the above stock being released, they will
be sold on Friday, 13th day of December, 1872, at 12
o’clock noon, at Leaning Rock, Clyde: Pound.—WILLIAM
WILLIAMS, Poundkeeper.
MEETING of the Kaikorai District Road
Board will be held at Kaikorai Hotel on Tuesday
Evening, 3rd December, at 6.30, to hear appeals.
