NOTICE

Of certain Lands in the Province of Otago having been reserved for Educational purposes.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Southland Waste Lands Act 1865," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved for educational purposes: and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for educational purposes (that is to say)—

Sections 57, 58, and 59, block I, Mataura Hundred, containing by admeasurement five hundred and twenty-nine (529) acres, three (3) roods, and thirty-nine poles, more or less.

Section 49, block XIV, New River Hundred, containing by admeasurement twenty-nine (29) acres, three (3) roods, and nine (9) poles, more or less.

Sections 15, block VI, and 31, block VII, Winton Hundred, containing by admeasurement one hundred and sixty-nine (169) acres and eight (8) poles, more or less.

Sections 38, block I; 13, block II; 28, block III; and 28, block IV, Aparima Hundred, containing by admeasurement two hundred and sixty-three (263) acres, three (3) roods, and thirty (30) poles, more or less.

Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, block IX; section 25, block VII; section 20, block XI; and section 25, block XV, Invercargill Hundred, containing by admeasurement six hundred and forty-seven (647) acres, one (1) rood, and thirty-five (35) poles, more or less.

Sections 28, block X; 30, block VIII, and 55, block VII, Jacob’s River Hundred, containing by admeasurement three hundred and eighty-four (384) acres, two (2) roods, and six (6) poles, more or less.

Sections 2, 6, 7, 8, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22, block VIII, Wallace town, containing by admeasurement two (2) acres and one (1) rood, more or less.

Sections 17, 18, 19 and 20, block LV, town of Invercargill.
