IMPOUNDED on the 23rd day of October, 1872, by James M'Neil, Balclutha, one bay Horse, branded GF on off shoulder; one bay Mare, branded GR on off shoulder; one bay Colt, no brand; supposed to belong to Thomson, storekeeper, and Algie, baker; for trespassing on M’Neil’s wheat paddock, Balclutha; for which six shillings per head is claimed, and in default of being released, the above horses will be sold at the Public Pound, at Balclutha on Friday, the 15th day of November, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon.—GEORGE BAIN, Poundkeeper of the Balclutha Pound.
IMPOUNDED on the 22nd day of October, 1872, by John Finn, Inspector of Nuisances, one yellow and white cow, blotch brand on off rump; one red and white steer, branded like NO off rump; owner unknown, for trespassing on the streets, for which no damages are claimed; and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Balclutha on Friday, the 15th day of Nov., 1872, at 12 o’clock noon.—GEORGE BAIN, Poundkeeper of the Balclutha Pound.
IMPOUNDED on the 25th day of October, 1872, by Mr. Henderson, Trotter’s Creek, three head, one red and white Cow, indistinct brand on near rump; one black Heifer, about nine months old, progeny of the above, no brand; one red bullock, indistinct brand on near rump; owner unknown; for trespassing on grass paddock at Trotter’s Creek; for which five shillings are claimed, and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, at Hampden, on the 15th day of November, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon.—H. I, THE Undersigned Thomas Black, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, clerk, hereby make application to register “The Lucknow Quartz Reef Mining Co., Registered” under the provisions of the “Mining Companies Limited Liability Act 1865;” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is to the best of my belief and knowledge true in every particular, namely:—

The nominal capital of the Company is seven thousand eight hundred pounds in two thousand six hundred shares of three pounds each.
