NOTICE.—The Crichton Road Board intend to make (on the 14th October) a general district rate for the year ending 20th June, 1873, in accordance with the Otago Roads Ordinance, 1871. The proposed rate is deposited at the house of the Clerk for inspection from this date.—ARCH. DUNLOP, Clerk to Board.

Davidson, manager Malakanui Station, one black Filly, branded like JC off shoulder, blaze, hind feet white; one bay Gelding, branded like S with stroke above near shoulder, near hind foot white; one bay Mare, branded like JR conjoined near shoulder, RB conjoined with JT underneath near shoulder, blaze, off hind foot white, 66 near hip; one bay Filly, no visible brands, hind feet white, white spot on forehead; owner unknown; trespassing on Malakanui Station, for which 10s. per head expenses are claimed, and in default of being released, the above horses will be sold at the Public Pound at Leaning Rock, Clyde, on Friday, the 1st day of November, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon.—WILLIAM WILTON, M.S., Poundkeeper of the Leaning Rock, Clyde, Pound.
IMPOUNDED, on the 6th day of October, 1872, by Mr. Robert Stewart, Hawksburn Station, one red and white Steer, branded like SB off hip; one black Cow, like GP off rump; one light strawberry Steer, WS off rump; one red and white Steer, E off hip, blotched; one red and white Steer, like O reversed with stroke through, near ribs; one red and white Bullock, no visible brands, short tail; one black and white Heifer, like JI off rump; one red Steer, like JP off rump; one white Steer, something like ~ near rump; owner unknown, for trespassing on Hawksburn Station, for which 5s. per head expenses is claimed; and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Leaning Rock, Clyde, on Friday, the first day of November, 1872, at twelve o’clock noon.—WILLIAM WILLIAMS, Poundkeeper of the Leaning Rock (Clyde) Pound.
NOTICE.—A Special Meeting of the Suburban Road Board, will be held on Wednesday, 23rd instant, at 7.30 p.m., in the Green Island Schoolhouse, for the purpose of hearing the objections that have been lodged with the Clerk against the District Rate.—T. NOTICE.—The Mornington District Road Board have decided to levy a highway rate of 5 per cent. annual valuation upon all rateable property within the said district, for the current year. The Rate Roll is prepared and lodged for the inspection of the ratepayers, in conformity with the "Otago Roads Ordinance 1871-2," at the Post Office, Mornington.—J. E. ATTWOOD, Clerk. BLUESKIN Road Board.—The above Board will hold its first General Meeting on the 23rd October, 1872, at the house of Mr. James Baird.
NOTICE.—The late clerks, or any other persons having at present in their possession books, maps, deeds, documents, plans, or any other property belonging to the late Road Boards of Purakanui, Blueskin, or Deborah Bay, are hereby requested to deliver the same to the present Blueskin Road Board, at a meeting of the said Road Board to be held at the house of the undersigned, at noon on Wednesday, the 23rd October, 1872.—JAMES BAIRD, Chairman (pro tem.).
BLUESKIN Road District.—Applications will be received by the undersigned, up till noon of the 23rd October (marked Clerk and Collector), from parties willing to act as such to the above Board for the current year. Applicants must state remuneration required, and enclose a letter from some responsible individual offering to become security for applicant. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.—JAMES BAIRD, Chairman (pro tem.).
TWO VALUATORS required by the Blueskin Road Board. Tenders are invited from competent parties willing to value the above district. Tenders to be lodged with Mr James Baird on or before October 23, at noon, 1872, marked tenders for valuating. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
POMAHAKA Road District.—Notice. —A statement of the proposed Rate for the above district for the year 1872-73 lies at my house for the inspection of ratepayers.—WM. DALLAS, Clerk.—Mayfield, 12th October, 1872.
NOTICE.—The Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned as Brewers and Maltsters, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due by and to the late firm, will be paid and received by Mr. Wilson, who will carry on the business as before.

DISSOLUTION of Partnership.—Notice is hereby given, that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned William M’Conochie and Joseph Rowell, of Queenstown, Market Gardeners, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent: And notice is hereby further given that all debts due to the late partnership must be paid within one month from the date hereof to the undersigned Joseph Rowell, who will discharge all claims against the partnership, and will continue to carry on the business.
