EDUCATION RESERVE.—Section 2 of 7, Block
VI., North-east Harbour and Blueskin District,
will be leased at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Friday,
the 11th of October, immediately after the sale of
Crown Lands.

Copies of Regulations and Conditions of Lease, may
be had on application at the Education Office.

NOTICE to Runholders.—The Lessees and Licensees
of Runs within the Land District of Invercargill,
will please to forward to the District Land
Office, Invercargill, the Return of Stock ordered by
the Waste Land Act to be made during September, and
to pay the Assessment due thereon to the Receiver of
Land Revenue there, on 1st October, 1872.

NOTICE.—In accordance with the 34th Section of
“The Otago Roads Ordinance 1871,” a meeting
of the Blueskin Road Board will be held at the house of
Mr. James Baird, near the Port Chalmers and Blueskin
Road, at 12 o’clock noon, on Wednesday, the 18th
instant.

NOTICE.—The suburban Road Districts (Corstorphine
and Green Island Subdivisions) intend
making a general District Rate for the year ending 20th
March, 1873, in accordance with the Otago Roads
Ordinance, 1871. The proposed rate is deposited at
the house of the Clerk for inspection by the ratepayers

SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given that
a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch
of Criminal and Civil Business, will be holden at the
Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Monday the 7th
day of October next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the
forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound
by recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defen-
dants, or Witnesses are required to give their
attendance.

Notice is hereby further given that the Civil Cases
will not be called on for trial until Tuesday, the 15th
day of October, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.

IMPOUNDED on the 4th day of September, 1872,
by order of Mr. C. G. Moore, one chestnut saddle
Mare, no visible brands; owner unknown; straying in
town and breaking fences; no damage claimed; and in
default of being released, the above Mare will be sold
at the Public Pound at Oamaru, on Friday, the 27th
day of September, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon.—JOHN
GRAY, Poundkeeper of the Oamaru Pound.

IMPOUNDED on the 31st day of August, 1872, by
John Cameron, Esq., of Spylaw Station, one black
and white Steer, branded HS off rump, top piece off
off ear; one strawberry Steer, top piece off off ear, no visi-
ble brands; owners unknown; for trespassing on Spy-
law Station, for which 4s. per head is claimed for
driving, and in default of being released, the above
Cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, at Tapanui, on
Friday, the 27th day of September, 1872, at 12 o’clock
noon.—A. M’GREGOR, Poundkeeper of the Glenkenich
Pound.

IMPOUNDED on the 3rd day of September, 1872,
by J. F. Kitching, Esq., of Moa Flat Station, one
red and white Cow, branded like MF off rump, ¾ off
ribs, one white Bull Calf, no brands; one red and white
Cow, like JF off rump, ¾ off ribs; one white heifer, no
visible brands; owners unknown; for trespassing on
Moa Flat Station, for which 5s. per head is claimed for
driving; and in default of being released, the above
Cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, Tapanui, on
Friday, the 27th day of September, 1872, at 12 o’clock
