APPLICATIONS will be received by Mr. John H. Baker, Survey Office, Invercargill, from persons wishing to lease any of the Reserves as formerly advertised.
Copies of the Otago Regulations, and conditions for the Leasing of Education Reserves can be obtained from Mr. Baker, Invercargill.

(being centre part of Island on Clutha River, opposite Mr. James Smith’s station), will be offered for sale by public auction, at Mr. Capstick’s Auction Rooms, Tokomairiro, on Monday, the 16th day of September next, at noon, at the upset price of 21s. per acre.

NOTICE to Runholders.—The Lessees and Licensees of Runs within the Land District of Invercargill, will please to forward to the District Land Office, Invercargill, the Return of Stock ordered by the Waste Land Act to be made during September, and to pay the Assessment due thereon to the Receiver of Land Revenue there, on 1st October, 1872.

IMPOUNDED on the twenty-sixth day of August, 1872 by Robert Westwood, farmer, Clyde, one red and white cow branded like a near hip, hieroglyphic off rump, one red and white steer, branded like )~( off rump, one red and white steer, branded like )~( off rump, owner unknown, for trespassing on nursery and paddock, for which no damages are claimed; and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Leaning Rock, Clyde, on Friday, the twentieth day of September, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon.—WILLIAM WILLIAMS, Poundkeeper of the Leaning Rock, Clyde.
SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Businesses, will be held at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Monday the 7th day of October next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses are required to give their attendance.
Notice is hereby further given that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Tuesday, the 15th day of October, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.
