THE FOURTH SCHEDULE.
Rates of Ordinary Damages to be charged for Cattle Trespassing.

THE FIFTH SCHEDULE.
Driving fees.
No charge to be made within three miles.
No salaried officer of the Government to be allowed charges on his own account for driving.
No charge to exceed, in the aggregate for driving, twenty shillings per day for man and horse.
Section 42. — Any cattle which may be impounded shall not be liable for feed charges until they shall have been eight hours in the pound.

28th June, Friday, noon, 3 geldings will be sold at Caversham Pound.
BREAD.
TENDERS will be received at the Government Offices, Dunedin, until Friday, 21st June, 1872, for supply of Hospital, Immigration Depot, and Lunatic Asylum with Bread, for the Six Months ending 31st December, 1872.
A deposit of £20 must be lodged with the tender, to be forfeited if tender is not adhered to by tenderer.
Forms of tender may be had from the Government Storekeeper.
TENDERS
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Friday, 28th June, for Contract No. 649 — Construction of a timber bridge over the Waihopia stream, on road Invercargill to Winton.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the office of the Railway manager, Invercargill.
Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works tender for Contract No. 649.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

PAYMENTS TO BE MADE IN LAND.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Tuesday, 2nd July, for Contracts Nos. 646, 647 and 648 — Constructing portions of the Puerua road, in block I, Glenomaru district.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works; and at the Post-office, Port Molyneux.
Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works tender for Contract No. 646, 647, or 648,” as the case may be.
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Lands and Works, until noon of Tuesday, 25th June, for contract No. 640 — metalling portion of road, Dunedin to Portobello.
Plans and specifications may be seen at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.
Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works tender for Contract No. 640.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
