NOTICE to Local Road Boards.—The following Resolution passed by the Provincial Council on the 15th May, 1872, is published for the information and guidance of Local Road Boards:—

"That copies of all alterations of roads made by Road Boards, be forwarded to the respective Survey Offices."

Priority of choice in the selection of the books on their arrival here will be strictly determined by the dates on which the several Committees forwarded their subscriptions to this Office, or submit their claims to free grants in respect of moneys expended by them directly on the purchase of library books.

SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business will be held at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Monday, the first day of July next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Tuesday, the ninth day of July, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.

Ewe, Wether, or Lamb, for the first twenty ... 0s 2d

The above charges to be paid for each day of 24 hours, or part of a day, during which the animal is supplied with food and water by the poundkeeper, but the owner may supply food and water, in which case these charges are not to be made.
