— The Sections in the subjoined Schedule being now surveyed, the applicants are informed that the Waste Land Board will give its decision on their applications at this Office, on Wednesday, the 22nd day of May, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon, or on or before which day, objections to the survey, if any, must be made. In the event of the applications being granted, the purchase money may be paid forthwith.

NOTICE is hereby given that sections 10, 11, 12 & 13, block XIII, Hillend District, containing respectively 310a 2r 4p, 315a 2a 26p, 94a 2a 7p, and 246a 0r 20p, will be offered for sale by public auction, by Mr Capstick, at his auction rooms, Tokomairiro, on Monday, the 10th day of June, 1872, at noon, at the upset price of 10s. per acre with survey expenses added.


NOTICE is hereby given that section 5, block VI, Rankleburn District, containing 97 acres 1 rood, will be offered for sale by public auction, at Lawrence Survey Office, on Monday, the 10th day of June, 1872, at noon, at the upset price of 10s per acre, with survey expenses added.


NOTICE is hereby given, that that lease, for 10 years, of Run No. 257, containing 9660 acres, will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Monday, the 17th day of June, 1872, at noon, in terms of Clause 78, “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866,” at the upset price of half-penny per acre, rental to be assessment of 3s. 6d. per head on Cattle depastured, power reserved to increase assessment if understocked. Lease to commence 12th December, 1872.


WITHDRAWAL from Sale.—Section 59, block XXXII, Dunedin, advertised to be sold on the 17th day of May, 1872, has been withdrawn from sale.


SECTION 59, Block XXXII, Dunedin, previously advertised for sale, is withdrawn.


NOTICE to APPLICANTS for UNSURVEYED LAND under “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866.”

It is hereby notified to the applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that the Waste Land Board has declared them to be the purchasers of the sections set opposite their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase money of these sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue, in Invercargill, on or before Wednesday, the 22nd day of May, 1872, otherwise the application will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled, and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.

BRIGHTON Road Board.— The Precept authorising the collection of the Highway Rate for the above district for the year 1871-72 having been issued by the General Road Board, Ratepayers are requested to pay their respective rates to Mr Wm. M’Leod, on or before the 10th May, 1872.— Peter Leitch, Clerk, Otokia, 20th April, 1872.
