I, the undersigned Thomas Aiton, hereby make application to register the "Nokomai Flat Gold Mining Company, Registered," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act 1865," and amendments thereof, and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—
The name and style of the company is "The Nokomai Flat Gold Mining Company, Limited."
The place of operations is at Nokomai.
The nominal capital of the company is £1000, in 2000 shares of 10s. each.
The amount already paid up is £82 10s.
The name of the manager is Thomas Aiton.
The office of the company is at Nokomai.

Government Notice
In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in this behalf enabling me, I, Sir George Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby fix and appoint that sittings of the District Court of the Otago Gold Fields, during the months of May and June next, shall be held as follows:
- In the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Naseby, on the second Wednesday in May next.
- In the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Clyde, on the Monday next after the second Wednesday in May next.
- In the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Queenstown, on the Monday second after the second Wednesday in May next.
- In the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Lawrence, on the second Tuesday in June next.
Provided that in case any of the days so fixed as aforesaid shall happen to be a holiday, then the Court appointed for that day shall be held on the first day thereafter, not being a holiday.
Issued this nineteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.
