TENDERS are invited for certain works in Clarendon Road District. Mr. M’Bridge will meet intending contractors on Friday, 12th April, at 10 o’clock, at Lake Waipori bridge, to point out the works and show specifications. Tenders to be lodged with the undersigned by noon on 13th April. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.—R. B. FRESH TENDERS WANTED for furnishing and breaking one hundred and forty (140) cubic yards of metal, more or less. ROSLYN Road Board.—Wanted, Tenders for 100 Yards Metal. Specifications to be seen, at the residence of A. H. Ross, Esq., Roslyn. Tenders, containing 10 per cent. deposit, will be received until 7 p.m., 8th instant.—H. P. MACKLIN, Clerk.
WANTED, for the Queenstown Main District School, a Schoolmaster and Schoolmistress. Salary, Government subsidy of £160, and School fees of 1s. per week added, subject to a deduction of £30 per annum. Probable salary from all sources, £300 per annum, with a good house rent free. Must be duly qualified teachers, and the master able to teach singing. Engagement to be for one year, only. EDUCATION BOARD.—A special meeting of the Education Board will be held at the Government Offices, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 11th day of April, 1872, at noon.

NOTICE.—The consideration of the proposal of Enfield, Windsor, and Teaneraki Local Road Boards to borrow £24,000, has been postponed by the General Road Board until Monday, 15th April, at 11 a.m., at Provincial Government Offices, Dunedin.
NO Election of a School Committee having taken place in the Educational District of Kaihiku, His Honor the Superintendent has fixed Friday, the 26th day of April, 1872, at 7 o’clock, p.m., for the election at the School-house of a School Committee for the said district of Kaihiku.

IT is hereby notified that the land, bounded on the north by Tay street, on the south by Wood street, on the west by Clyde street, and on the east by Nith street, henceforth known as block 75, town of Invercargill, will be offered for sale by Mr. G. F. Martin, at auction, at the Town Hall, Invercargill, at noon, on the 24th day of April, 1872.
Block 75 is situated in the centre of the town of Invercargill, and contains 22 sections, each having 33 feet frontage to Tay street and Wood street, by a depth of two chains.
Terms—One fourth cash, balance in three equal instalments without interest, payable at one, two, and three years.
