Ranger for the Northern Hundreds, for trespassing on the Oamaru and Awamoko Hundreds, for which 2s per head damages is claimed, one red cow, branded JC on off rump; one red cow, white belly, no visible brand; one red and white cow, like JT off rump; one white cow, like TC off rump; one red and white cow, no visible brand; one strawberry steer, JP near rump; one strawberry steer, no visible brand; one white heifer, like W, off rump; one red heifer, F, off rump; two roan bulls, no visible brands; one red and white bull, no visible brand; one red bull, no visible brand; one red and white heifer, no visible brand; ten calves, no brands; one red and white cow, M W, near loins; one strawberry heifer, blotched on off rump, calf at foot; one white heifer, no visible brand; one spotted cow, blotched on off rump; one white cow, J W (and like A with stroke on top) underneath, J W off shoulder, slit on off ear; one red cow, no visible brand, back bit out of off ear; one red cow, like M K with an anchor underneath, off rump; one roan steer, like C, off rump; one roan steer, white back, no visible brand, two slits near ear; one roan cow, no visible brand; one strawberry steer, blotch off rump; one red heifer, no visible brand; one red steer, like a star, near shoulder; one red steer, like triangle with a 4 attached, off rump; one red and white steer, like HB conjoined, near side; one strawberry steer, like D, near rump, and like E, off rump; one red cow, like HB conjoined, off rump, calf at foot; one spotted heifer, no visible brand; one red and white cow, J W near rump, blotch off rump, calf at foot; in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, Papakaio, on the 5th day of April, 1872, at noon, to defray expenses.—Jas. Off rump; one red and white heifer, branded G 3 off hip, W off rump; for which five shillings per head damages are charged, for trespass on Morven Hills run.

Harry Waddington Smythies, hereby make application to register the “Carrick Range Water Supply Company Registered” under the provisions of the “Mining Companies Limited Liability Act 1865,” and the amendments thereof; and I do sincerely and solemnly declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:
The name and style of the Company is “The Carrick Range Water Supply Company Limited.”
The place of operations is the Carrick Ranges.
The nominal capital of the Company is £12,000, in 12,000 shares of £1 each.
