of Otago to take compulsorily for the purpose of completing a road in the Walton Road District, parts of sections numbered respectively forty-nine and fifty (49 and 50), block seven (7), Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, of the Province of Otago aforesaid; also for the purpose of completing a road in the Portobello Road District, part of section numbered twenty-eight (28), block five (5), Portobello Survey District, of the Province of Otago aforesaid; also for the purpose of completing a road in the Portobello Road District, part of section numbered twenty-four (24), block five (5), of the Portobello Survey District, of the Province of Otago aforesaid; also, for the purpose of completing a road in the Port Molyneux Road District, parts of sections numbered respectively eleven (11) and twelve (12), block eight (8), South Molyneux Survey District, of the Province of Otago aforesaid; also, for the purpose of completing a road in the Port Molyneux Road District, part of section numbered fifteen (15), block two (2), Glenomaru Survey District, of the Province of Otago aforesaid; and for the purpose of completing a road in the Motupipi Road District, parts of sections numbered respectively five (5) and six (6), block thirty (30), Waihola District, of the said Province of Otago. And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the Bill so intended to be introduced as aforesaid may be inspected at the office of the Clerk of the Provincial Council of Otago aforesaid, on and after the thirteenth day of March, 1872.

29th March, Friday noon, 4 heifers, 2 calves, 4 steers, a cow and 3 bulls will be sold at Lawrence Pound.

29th March, Friday noon, a cow, two heifers, and a steer will be sold at Clyde Pound.

29th March, Friday noon, 6 bulls, 6 heifers, 1 steer, 4 cows, and 4 calves will be sold at Tokomairiro Pound.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Friday, 22nd March, for Contracts Nos. 604, 605, 606, 607, 608, 609, 610, 611, 612, 613, 614, 615, 616, 617, 618, 619, 620, 621, 622, 623, 624, 625, 626, 627, 628, 629. --See previous Gazettes.’

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Land and Works until noon of Friday, 22nd March, for—Contract No. 632—Supply and spreading 980 cubic yards of road metal on road "Dunedin to North Taieri." Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin. Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 632." The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

PAYMENT TO BE MADE IN CASH.

FRESH TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Friday, 22nd March, for

Contract No. 573.—Gravelling 99 chains of road, "Camp Reserve, Waitahuna to Duffs Store." Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Waitahuna. Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 573." The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Friday, 29th March, for

Contract No 634—Supply and spreading 1500 cubic yards of Road Metal, on road Dunedin to Portobello. Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin. Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 634." The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 29th March, for—

Contract No. 633—Construction of Bridge across the Shotover, near Arthur’s Point. Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Queenstown. Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 633." The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Land and Works, until noon of Friday, 29th March, 1872, for contract No. 571—forming a bridle track between George’s store, Kyeburn, and the Township of the Marewhenua Diggings. "Marewhenua to Mount Ida Diggings through the Marewhenua Pass." Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, or at the Police Station, Naseby. Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 571." The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Friday, the 5th April, for

Contract No. 635—Formation of portions of Road Naseby to Coal-pit between Naseby and Kyeburn. Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; or at the Police Station, Naseby. Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 635." The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
