CLOSING ROADS.

NOTICE is hereby given that objections having been lodged with me against the shutting-up of certain Road Lines included in the Roads Diversion Ordinance 1871, situate in the District of Enfield, Goodwood, Highcliff, Meadow Bank, Oteramika, Sandymount, Warepa, and Waitahuna West, a Special Meeting of the Executive Council will be held in the Government Buildings, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 21st day of March, at noon, for the purpose of deciding the said Objections, when parties interested are invited to be present.

HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that he has appointed the following Constables to be Inspectors of Slaughter Yards for the Police districts set opposite their names--


PROVINCIAL COMPULSORY LAND TAKING ACT 1866.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended to introduce a Bill into the Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, at its next Session, authorising the Superintendent of the Province of Otago (inter alia,) to take compulsorily for the purpose of completing a road in the Breadalbane Road District of the Province of Otago aforesaid, part of Section thirty-two (32), Block one (L) Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, of the said Province of Otago. And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the Bill so intended to be introduced as aforesaid, may be inspected at the office of the Clerk of the Provincial Council of Otago aforesaid, on and after the twenty-sixth day of March current.

Dated at Dunedin, this twelfth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.
