IMPOUNDED on the 30th January, 1872, by the Police, one yellow heifer branded W F on off rump, one brindle and white heifer, branded W F on off rump, owner unknown, for trespassing on road line, for which 3s 6d per head is claimed, and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the public pound at Inch Clutha, on the 8th March, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon.—F. ROBERT WRIGHT STIRLING, of Clyde, Otago, Licentiate of Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, and Licentiate in Medicine and Midwifery in the King and Queen’s College of Physicians, Ireland, do hereby make application to be Registered under the “New Zealand Medical Practitioners’ Act, 1869,” and have deposited my diplomas with the Registrar, in terms of said Act. Clyde, Jan. 31, 1872.

THE undersigned, Charles Colclough, hereby make application to register the Nil Desperandum Quartz Mining Company, under the provisions of the “Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and the amendments thereof, and I do sincerely and solemnly declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular:

The style of the Company is, Nil Desperandum Quartz Mining Company, Registered.

The place of operations is at Pipeclay Gully, Carrick Range.

The nominal capital of the Company is seven thousand pounds, in fourteen hundred shares of five pounds each.

The amount paid up in cash is four hundred pounds.

The amount allotted in partly paid-up shares is one thousand pounds.

The Office of the Company is at Cromwell.

The name of the Manager is Charles Colclough.

The names in full, and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follows:

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership lately existing between us, the undersigned David Bacon and Heinrich Wilhelm Elias Meyer, as coal merchants, livery stablekeepers, and express proprietors, at Dunedin, under the style or firm of Bacon and Meyer, was on the sixth day of August instant dissolved by mutual consent.

All debts due and owing to or by the late firm will be received and paid by the said David Bacon.

As witness our hands this eighteenth day of August, 1871.
