SCHEDULE.
All that portion of the Otago Gold Field, situate on the Spur between Coal Pit Gully and Wet Gully, comprising three acres, more or less, and contained in the following boundaries, viz.—Commencing at a point near the junction of Band of Hope Company’s Water-races, held under licenses Nos. 524 and 487, and bearing west 100 yards to Coal Pit Road; thence south, parallel with said road, 194 yards; thence easterly 100 yards; thence northerly 194 yards to the starting point.

of Impounding Notices:—26th January, Friday, noon, a Bay Horse will be sold at East Taieri Pound.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Land and Works, until noon of Tuesday, 30th January, for—
Contract No. 567.—Formation of about 140 chains of road, between Queenstown and Arthur’s Point.
Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; and at the District Engineer’s office, Cromwell.
Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender, for Contract No. 567.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Land and Works until noon of Friday, 2nd February, 1872, for—
Contract No. 541.—Construction of a Timber Bridge over the Kakaho Stream, Main North Road.
Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, or at the Police Station, Hampden.
Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 541.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 544.”

POPOTUNOA ROAD BOARD.—Wanted Tenders for Road Formation and Metalling.
Plans and specifications can be seen at Popotunoa Station. Tenders will be received up to the 22nd inst.

TEACHER Wanted for Moa Flat Side School.
Salary £75 with School fees and rent allowance. A married man preferred.—Apply before January 24th to DUNCAN M’RAE, Moa Flat.
WANTED, a Teacher for the Side School, Macraes Flat; Salary, £130 per annum and residence. Applications, with testimonials, to be sent in not later than the 26th January, to R. Donaldson, Macraes.
WANTED, a Teacher for the Side School, Tuapeka Ferry; Salary, £75 from Government, and part School Fees. Applications, with testimonials, to be lodged with the undersigned on or before the 26th January, 1872.—FRED. NICHOLLS, Clerk to the School Committee, Tuapeka Ferry.
A MEETING will be held in the Government Offices, Dunedin, on Thursday, 1st February, at noon, for taking into consideration the application for an Auctioneer’s License by GEORGE FACHE, Clyde.
CONTRIBUTIONS of Books, Periodicals, or Newspapers, for the use of the patients, will be thankfully received at the Dunedin Hospital.
WASTE LAND BOARD ADVERTISEMENTS.
TUESDAY, 23rd January, noon.
NOTICE is hereby given that Sections 2, Block II; and 2, Block III, Waipahi District; and Sections 10, Block XI; 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Block VII; 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, Block V; 1 and 3, Block VIII, Clutha District, will be offered for sale by public auction, by Mr. R. W. Capstick, at the Crown Hotel, Balclutha, on Tuesday, the 23rd day of January next, at noon, at the upset price of 10s. per acre.
NOTICE is hereby given that Sections 16, 18, 19, 1 of 20, and 2 of 20, Block IV, Kaitangata District, will be offered for sale by public auction, by Mr. R. W. Capstick, at his auction rooms, Tokomairiro, on Monday, the 12th day of February next, at noon, at the upset price of 10s. per acre.
Immediately thereafter, Section 20, Block VI, Clinton Township, will be offered at the upset price of £15.
